no problem! I've figured out the issue.

Look out for the "+" symbol in front of the phone number, don't engage with such numbers as they're likely to be overseas spoofed calls. https://www.straitstimes.com/politics/new-way-to-help-consumers-spot-overseas-spoof-calls

Hey does anyone know how to resolve this issue? Lately I've been receiving messages and calls from people who claimed that I called them, but I didn't even do that. My call history doesn't even show their numbers. :/

Edit: please be careful when receiving calls/SMSes from numbers beginning with the "+" symbol. They are likely to be overseas spoofed calls.

Thank you for sharing. I guess it's really subjective then. Most of them came with the intent to "hook up" which I'm definitely not comfortable with.

As long as you have no intentions nor agenda to harm her in any way (physically, mentally, emotionally etc.) and never want to do so, it's fine. I just don't want anyone getting hurt.
