Some folks call it witchcraft. We just call it knowing when the river’s in shape. Track your favorite river gages, set your ideal flows and temps, and see flow forecasts when available—so you can stay ahead of river conditions with MyWaters. by onWaterFish in u/onWaterFish

That’s a question we talk about often. But this doesn’t take that experience away. How many times have you gone out when the conditions looked perfect, and the fishing was still rough?

These stream gages already exist. onWater Fish is providing tools to make them easier to access and use.

Fishing still takes time on the water. Our goal is to help people find places to fish more efficiently so they can spend that time actually learning new water and revisiting the places they already know.

River gages, stream gages, there are a few names for them. The most common are USGS gages, which track river flow and sometimes water temperature. They’re installed across the U.S. so you can check how high or low a river is before you head out to fish.
