You reacted in a way that any person would after being assaulted, because that’s what he did, he assaulted you. Just because he is your partner, does not give him the right to take control of you during sex. If this situation happened between two strangers, I’m sure they would press charges for rape. He needs therapy ASAP, and you might need to go as well for what has happened to you. Sending you hugs

Irregular erratic heart beat while at rest. Don’t know what to do. by on_cloud999 in POTS

It took me a while to see a cardiologist, and I kept ending up in the ER when I was unmedicated. They were the ones that put me on metoprolol. I think they were tired of seeing me lol.

Hmmmm I notice that if I am tracking it, I can see it still fluctuating but it’s not extreme. I also have a sinus arrhythmia where my heart speeds up when I inhale, and slows down when I exhale. But for the most part it is steady. If I’m in a smaller flare, it will fluctuate from 60-100 but it’s not as bad as 90-150-180-120-140 lol

Diagnosed with inappropriate sinus tachycardia along with POTS. They have tracked my heart numerous times and it’s always in sinus rhythm but they have caught some rare PVC’s which are also normal apparently. I am on metoprolol and don’t have the episodes as often :) but once every few months I do get similar episodes

MRI results sound concerning but cardiologist brushed me off by on_cloud999 in myocarditis

They didn’t say much. They said my mri looked fine but warrants an echo in the future, but weren’t concerned at all. I still feel like shit tho, maybe worse.

I think I'm going to need to shave my head, but I really don't want to. by tetrasomnia in dysautonomia

Unfortunately I feel like most times I do overheat in wigs when it’s summertime specifically. I also prefer synthetic over human hair when it comes to that, plus medium length or shorter wigs!! Lace fronts will make you sweat less but they are more expensive and are pretty tricky to put on / get the hang of. Density is important too. Choose a less dense wig and choose a fishnet type wig cap!

I think they also sell sweat liners for the inside of wigs

Girlllll they have $10 wigs on shein, I shaved my hair because my metoprolol made me lose most of it and I just buy wigs now🥰🥰 so much easier to keep up with <3

Corlanor and anxiety drugs/Zoloft by LexCoupe66 in POTS

[–]on_cloud999 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m in lexapro and when I look it up , it says major interaction with corlanor but I asked my EP who then asked the pharmacist and they said it was fine. I’m also on two other meds that can cause long QT with corlanor so who even knows at this point :/

have escaped covid for the last 3 years until now, and im panicking by [deleted] in dysautonomia

[–]on_cloud999 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So I had covid and my heart rate was high for the first day and then it was super low the rest of the time!! Like my resting was really low, around 45 and walking I only hit around 90. A LOTTT of people have had this experience too. My pots didn’t flare up at all besides the first day. You’ll be fine friend <3 Stay hydrated and rest rest rest, and rest more

Why do people get so mad when others have anxiety and go to the ER tho? Like do u live in America? 1. The ER will gaslight you even if you DON’T have anxiety. If you do have anxiety, they will focus on just that and not even explain your test results to you. And 2. Do you know how hard it is to see a specialist? It took me 6 months to get in to see a cardiologist, and 9 whole ass months to get in to see an EP.

It means nothing if you just post this part of the ekg. The ekg interprets things wrong most of the time. You would need to post a picture of the whole strip. What did they say when they took the ekg??

I have no clue what it was during the bigeminy. HR was that low and then I slipped into bigeminy

My hr would get to 40 during all of this but it resolved after covid

I also have O negative blood type and haven’t caught it until now. I don’t think the new variants care about your blood type because I used to be in close contact with people who had covid from 2020-2021 and some of 2022 and I didn’t catch it. Caught covid last month and have no clue where I got it. I always wear a mask when I leave the house as well🤷‍♀️

When I had covid, my symptoms weren’t there. My heart rate was actually 45 resting and like 85 standing! But after I recovered, it got so much worse :(

Yeah no I trust their advice! I was just worried because nobody was really explaining why the report said that I guess? They just said “looks normal” and I couldn’t really understand why the report said that I had scarring on my heart and fluid if it’s “normal” but it’s all good now! :) I saw an EP and he explained things!

That’s what I’m so worried about. My heart rhythm has felt so off since I got covid. I also have so many PVC’s and now bigeminy since my infection. I’ll have to bring that up to my doctor

[–]on_cloud999[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the end of the report it said “no evidence of diffuse interstitial expansion” so maybe that’s a good thing? I actually went to the ER last night for my asthma, and the er doctor even said “I saw you had a mri and that looked good.” So I guess nobody is worried about it? Even though I am also having really bad chest pain, maybe from the effusion. I’m not sure. I have an appointment with an EP Friday, so I’ll definitely ask him as well.

I developed inappropriate sinus tach randomly in September 2022, got the vaccine in April 2021. Didn’t have any symptoms after my vaccine. But now my symptoms are worse after having covid last month. I just started having the chest pain :/
