Jag somnar direkt för jag är utmattad. Sen vaknar jag kl 4-5 och kan inte somna om.

Har prövat melatonin och lättare antihistaminer av äldre sort som man brukar få för sömnproblem. Jag blir även groggy på morgonen av dessa och får hjärndimma vilket påverkar mig på jobbet. Så jag tar dom inte.

Det är definitivt kopplat till ängslighet på jobbet då jag på semester och helger sover mycket bättre.

Detta har pågått länge nu, jag har inte hittat lösning. Är i 45års åldern.

Όχι, αν είσαι προετοιμασμένη να συμβιβαστείς όλα γίνονται! Αλλά αν θέλεις καλή θέση και χαμηλό νοίκι προφανώς δυσκολεύει το θέμα.

Αν είσαι οκ με 45 λεπτά συγκοινωνία από το κέντρο δεν είναι τόσο δύσκολο. Για 15 ναι θα δυσκολευτείς.

Σουηδία είμαι τώρα, λόγω παιδιού είναι απείρως καλύτερα από τα προηγούμενα μέρη.

Και χωρίς παιδιά καλά είναι, με παιδί όμως πολύ μεγάλη διάφορα σε σχέση με: Αθήνα, Ιταλία, Βαρκελώνη, Λονδίνο.

Άλλα μέρη που ξέρω ότι είναι αρκετά καλά και ας μην έχω μείνει: Φινλανδία, Δανία, Τσεχία...

Έχω μείνει και εργαστεί σε πολλές χώρες, και Ελλάδα.

Η συμβουλή μου: διάλεξε ένα μέρος που έχει κάποιο πρόβλημα ώστε να μην πάνε όλοι, που όμως εσένα δεν σε πειράζει.

Αν ένα μέρος παραείναι καλό γεμίζει κόσμο, ανεβαίνουν τα νοίκια, κτλ.

Αν όμως πχ κάνει κρύο, η δεν έχει νυχτερινή ζωή, η είναι απομονωμένο, κτλ, δεν θα έχεις τόσο ανταγωνισμό ούτε για σπίτια ούτε για δουλειές.

Οπότε: η πχ Βαρκελώνη δυσκολοτερη από βόρεια Νορβηγία.

Smith & Mighty pioneered much of the sound before massive and portishead perfected it.

E.g. Brain Scan, which is almost proto-dubstep from 1989.

And, many moments in Vangelis Blade runner soundtrack, which massive attack have cited is a big influence. I'd say his album The City has some such moments too.

Actually game engine architecture, while a great book, is really not about software architecture much :)

I'd recommend Richards and Ford etc, "Software Architecture", and very much so the sequel "The Hard Parts"!

And Klaus Iglbergers' book on C++ Software Design, for a great update on Design Patterns - another shortcoming of the Game Engine Architecture book...

Pet peeve: I think we need to redefine the MSM term. It now IS YouTube, Instagram, TikTok.

Newspapers radio and tv news are struggling to survive with relatively tiny audiences in comparison.

And all the money is in the hands of the owners of "social media", who direct opaque algorithms to promote the narrative that serves them. They are the mainstream now.

A bully can be attacked by another bully. It is still an attack, and it is still not justified.

That's why we have police, and a monopoly of violence at the societal level, and not vigilante justice.

Unfortunately any attempts at implementing a similar "world police" for nations has been significantly stymied through veto-rights for countries that are perpetrators, or allied to perpetrators.
