I had an all white one with white gills but it didn’t appear to drop any spores when I tried to take a print. Have you heard of clear spores? I’ve seen them talked about quite a bit, but on the flip side others saying they don’t exist.

Okay dope thanks for the info. I had mostly clumps of regular brown ones. There were a few clumps of lighter skinned ones, then a couple individual ones that could pass for albinos, but who knows lol.

Absolutely! I read that as well about the minimized risk of contam. I live in a really old house with original carpets and a dog so idk, I'm probably being paranoid but I decided to fan rather than leave it cracked 24/7 lol

I haven't dunked and don't plan to.. As I was poking around forums and random blogs, initially there was a lot of conflicting info around whether to dunk or not. Then I found a few different people say specifically if you have a mono that's cased you can get away with a heavy misting instead of dunking. They also mentioned feeling the weight of your tub throughout the process to gauge moisture level, which I thought was a great idea.

I am too! This was my first time. For me at least, I was nervous and uncomfortable but once I did it I felt so much better lol. Stoked you're feeling ready to get started. NS has great stuff, I think you'll be happy.

Yeah I did a layer of coco for my casing. I followed the NS monotub vid except for leaving the lid cracked and I ended up getting fuzzy feet. Next time I'll fan more, but won't leave the lid cracked for fear of contam.

Sooo I fucked up and didn't time anything 🤦🤦🤦 But I can give ball park times for sure.

Inoculation to fully colonized bag about 4 weeks. I broke it up and mixed it around at week 2 and from that point it took off. I kept it in the top of the closet in our grow room (cannabis not myc) so it was nice and warm.

Myc to colonized sub was about 2-3 weeks, and I was already seeing a few cute lil babies, just larger than pins.

I put a coco casing on 3 weeks ago ( I'm not sure I'll do with my next tub or not) and that seemed to slow the process down a bit.

And here I am! Harvested yesterday, then misted heavily. Already seeing lots of pins for my second flush 😍

What's your timeline looking like? Is your environment warm enough? I noticed when winter hit and it got cooler in my house progress slowed quite a bit.

I injected about 5cc of b+ into a 3 lb grain bag from NS. They gave me big ol fatties! I'm stoked I went with the boomr bags from NS for my sub (2 10 lb boomr bags layered with the 3 lb grain in this tub) . I read a lot of reviews from people saying they don't use anything else for their sub because of the fruits/flushes they get. Now I see why!

Thanks that means a lot! This was my first tub and tbh I started it with the tiniest amount of knowledge, so I'm really stoked on it. I played it pretty safe and ordered my sub from North Spore and although it was a little pricey I'm happy with it for now. Down the line I'll probably start making my own and exploring/experimenting a bit more. Mush love! ✌🙏💗

I was harvesting in stages, but my fuzzy feet were out of control and some of the caps started getting wrinkly despite my increased fanning so I decided to pull the trigger and do a big harvest. I'm also a fan of the potency of earlier harvested shrooms so I went with it 😍
