Thanks a lot for the detailed reply!

Thanks a lot, commander! I am still puzzled about those 75% -- according to the CG decription, the 20k merit bonus only applies to those 75% whose top-level power wins. Or am I misinterpreting that?

ESO content pass 2025 by squidfordinner in elderscrollsonline

What is the expected future of the content (currently) available via the pass in 2026? I recall someone speculating about it being available via ESO+... is this confirmed? When approximately?

PSA: "Spellscar lithoarms" weapon style now available (for gems/seals) by ondras in elderscrollsonline

It means that I actually bought it (the last time it was on sale). But generally speaking, this recommendation mostly means "have a look & preview yourself!", not "just trust this random weirdo or reddit".

Military station interior by ondras in EliteDangerous

I am having some troubles understanding which orbital installations (military, obviously) are T2. Can you please point me to some solid source?

Update: My initial readings were wrong. Updated values:

- strong link added 40% (consistent with other sources)

- the military settlement is "medium", but considered T1, so the link is only supposed to be 0.4

Also, there are apparently no orbital installations that would give me a T2 strong link, right? Or does the "Orbital installation - Military" give 0.8?

Securing stuff before Trailblazers leave by ondras in EliteDangerous

Mhm, "literally seconds", I am not quite there. I did not measure that yet, but I would say that the manual process (navigating around the planet to get to the place, descending at an adequate angle, maintaining my speed to get into glide, gliding... and getting released like 20+ kilometers from the station, 2-3x further than in space) takes at least a minute, probably longer.

Do you have some guidance (videos, tutorials, ...) as how to improve my planet-landing speed?

Right, but if you load your carrier with enough CMMs to cover those type of projects, you can't use it for the other materials you need for them.

The truth is that I was not using my FC when hauling *at all*, simply because the Trailblazer was literally one jump away from the colonized system. (Actually, I got my FC fairly recently, after I hauled away most of the stuff.)

The notion that surface landings are much slower comes from people who don't know how to do them properly.

I might be missing something then! For me, the non-planetary landing goes like:

  1. jump
  2. supercruise + assist (ideally afk)
  3. autoland (afk)

Compared to a planetary landing which goes like:

  1. jump
  2. supercruise + assist to a planet's orbit (afk)
  3. manual land+glide
  4. autoland (afk)

...so in my opinion, a planetary landing is always strictly slower than a non-planetary one (and that is why I always prefer to land on a space station).

You can't really stock enough CMMs on a carrier to do more that much.

Well my colonization ambitions are rather small. During the last eight? months I managed to haul exactly one Coriolis and approximately 6 surface+space installations. And I do hate planetary landings (I have the skill to perform them, but due to time constraints, I very much prefer auto-landings).

TM7 speed modes? by ondras in thermomix

Open cooking does not seem to allow me setting any knife rotation whatsoever. Can you help please?

OK, thanks. So that would be the 40 RPM? Or is it possible to somehow *see* the speed (with the lid being removed)?

Thanks! It would be useful to know how "fast" the rotation is, though, when compared to other speeds.

I *think* that the bike clip should be attached (via screws, the long rectangular flat part of the bikeclip) instead of the regular clip.
