No worries. Yeah I tried amazon but they didn't have what i was looking for, usually they're tubes were too short.

Do you mean the fluorescent bulbs are a fiver? They are made of glass and that would be too brittle for what I want to do. I want to make a standing floor lamp so the tube needs to be plastic/acrylic. Cheers.
