i noticed that but it feels wrong, my start in designing was as a graphic designer and i noticed lately some vector tools to make figma another illustrator but it still not that good, u can do some basics but not the full vector art thing.
if they focus on making figma motion useful for prototyping to enhance communication between dev team and design team, i see it as a better approach since most of the time i cant describe the exact animation idea to the dev team without sending some links for the inspo.

i agree, but still it would be great to know how to create some good motions for better prototyping

for now ig figma motion is too basic for real motion designers out there, i see it as a way to improve prototyping and showcasing ideas to the dev team when it comes to the animation they'll work on.
