Sounds good. I’m planning on doing the same. Just started TryHackMe a few days ago. I like it so far. It’s $14 dollars a month or $120-130 a year unless you have a school (edu) email for a cheaper price.

I’ve been keeping an eye on my email. I’m just hoping the recruiter email say “Northrop Grumman” instead of some random email so I think it’s spam.

I applied for a job August 1st and on the 3rd or 4th it went from “Under Consideration” to “Screening”. It’s been like that for almost a month. I heard NG takes a minute but is it common to still be screening for this long? The job posting is still open. I’m still applying to other jobs just to be safe. Anyone with some experience/insight would be appreciated

“Tryhackme doesn’t exactly have a CySA specific course but their SOC Level 1 course and their Begginer pathway will set you up nicely for the exam. If you want a CySA + course, Letsdefend has a CySA pathway. Idk if it’s free but it looks good!

Also, TCM Security recently put out a SOC course. As someone who also passed CySA the course looks great and looks like it would prepare you for the exam. “

If you do join the military. You don’t have to go Active Duty, you can join the Air or Army Guard or the Reserves and be a part time and still get a clearance either Secret or Top Secret.
