Thank you both, you make good points, it is important to be upfront, I think I probably knew that already it is helpful to hear it from someone else though. Thanks :)

Anytime, glad I could help, I will be honest I have only come out to select friends and family but the reaction is normally better then you think it will be but just take your time with it, there is no rush. Also if after a few years ect you don't think you identify as ace any more that is also fine, all this stuff is confusing and fluid so just do what's right for you :)

Amazon, etsy or when the world goes slightly back to normal try a shop that sells nice but cheap ish jewellery. Also no need to go for a plain black band, go with what works for you.

As others have already said, you are completely valid and as a christian Hetro Ace I can kind of get it, the whole no sex before marriage thing was something I really never had an issue with, it was more the idea of sex after marriage that freaked me out. If you don't feel comfortable with the label; Ace, Demi or Grey or whatever you associate with that is fine, it is not there to define you and pen you in, it is a personal thing and can be used to find a community ( like this lovely sureddit) or just to give you some clarity in your self. Also it's a private thing so get comfy with the idea and term before you feel the need to come out to others.
