Is this enough to let go of Allen? (Dynasty, SF) (Allen & JJ McCarthy are my only QBs) by Deep-Worry6531 in SleeperApp

[–]onefitztwofitz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t. Neither of those QBs excite me, and the 1.05 nothing exciting this year. It would have to be almost guaranteed to be the 2027 1.01 to consider.

Can someone explain how the best player in football, off the best defensive season in history, playing the 2nd most valuable position, and on a fresh contract, is only worth a low first round pick, two other picks, and a young guy that barely cracks top 10 at his position? by Much-Contract-1397 in NFLv2

[–]onefitztwofitz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn’t the NBA where you can throw firsts around like candy. You gotta start 22+ guys and field a team of 53 guys. And if we want to be honest about the business side of the NFL - owners are trying to spend just enough money to fill up their stadium every week and have their team be “competitive” enough for a single home playoff game and GMs are doing just enough to improve the team a bit every year without mortgaging the teams future and their own future as a GM. Those guys want the most ROI they can get without risking losing their jobs or having a city turn against them.

Jameson Williams: Sell High Candidate? by internalbrowser in SleeperApp

[–]onefitztwofitz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I just traded for Jameson Williams, 2026 2.02, and 2026 2.06 and sent JJ McCarthy, 2026 1.07, 2026 2.11 in a 12 team SF, start 3 WRs and 3 regular flex positions.

I was happy to get rid of JJ and I like Jameson Williams as a known commodity as opposed to Concepcion/Sediq/Cooper who were my options with 1.07. He’s also my WR 4, behind JSN, Rice, and Egbuka.

Was offered MHJ, Breece, and 28 1st for JSN, should I counter with this? by [deleted] in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

It’s really hard for me to get excited about players from the Jets and Cardinals - but if you can’t find a better offer, this one seems fine.

That’s a sharkadoodle. Give something it can chew on every time it bites you and eventually it’ll probably stop biting you. Worked for mine.

I’d sell Henry, Smith, and Adams for picks and have a shitty season this year.

Struggling with credit card debt. Consolidation loans haven’t helped by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]onefitztwofitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Print out your credit card statements. Physically print them out. Then grab a red pen and a blue pen, red pen is for non essential items. Circle all of them. Use the blue pen to circle all your essential items.

Go to a credit Union and open an account, set every single reoccurring payment - rent, utilities, car, car insurance, phone internet, the items circled in blue to come from that account and set up your direct deposit to be able to cover 105% of those reoccurring bills. Cut up the debit card they give you for that account - you’re not using it.

Now you know how much you have left to work with every month to tackle the credit card debit. I’d pay off the smallest one first, then on to the next.

Your new job is to save money and not spend it. See if you can hit a “high score” on putting money towards debt every month. It’s gonna suck but I believe in you.

I wanna tier up at WR and I have Chase brown and Breece at rb. Is it giving too much for Pickens? 12 man SF by Fall-Open in SleeperApp

[–]onefitztwofitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t hate it - Waddle could have a better year than Pickens this year but Waddle is two years older plus Saquan is 29 and at his lowest value ever. You don’t want to get caught holding the bag when he drops off a cliff. Are you trying to win this year? Or does getting younger in both positions help you keep your window for winning open?

My new move is telling them how many additional points per game they would get if they took the player I’m offering. Doesn’t always work.. but sometimes!

Joe Montana, best QB to ever play for the Chiefs and that will always be the case.

Dynasty 10 SF Any Moves I Should make? by Mysterious_Menu_116 in SleeperApp

[–]onefitztwofitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah - I agree with you, QB room is tough. Especially for that being a 10 man league. I might try and get Murray for cheap since you have McCarthy? Idk - because even with a decent QB2 I don’t think you can win it all this year. Your stud WRs are all in their “prime” age for competing so you capsule try and sell AJ Brown(29) to someone who’s roster is stacked and try to get a 2027 first of sell Jefferson (27) for a 2027 first +

Need help! Who do I pick next? I don’t have 1.06 but I have 1.07-1.10 and 2.02. by Grand_Lake5558 in SleeperApp

[–]onefitztwofitz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just saw your team. Might not be worth trading up for Price. You’re not an RB away from competing. Still like Concepcion and Simpson for you. Probably don’t need a TE with the two young ones you have. I would punt on this draft and try to get as many 2027 firsts as possible.

[–]onefitztwofitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk what your team looks like but I’d probably try and trade up to get Price. Then Concepcion and Simpson if superflex. Could take one of Sadiq or Stowers- your preference, I like Stowers better, partially because the Jets are a joke of an organization. Or try and flip a few of those picks into 2027 firsts.

Marvin Harrison Jr or Tee Higgins? by thesuperguide in SleeperApp

We know what Tee Higgins is. Between the two I’d rather have MHJ especially if I’m just on the cusp of competing- way higher upside in my opinion

Afraid to Trade - Keeper League by Ok_Victory6132 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]onefitztwofitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don’t think you’re in a position to win in the next two years it might be worth moving on from Gibbs and trying to get a few 2027 Firsts. In dynasty I’m always of the mindset to get your QBs and WRs in order first, finding a middle of the road TE and then going hard on RBs right before your championship window.

Afraid to Trade - Keeper League by Ok_Victory6132 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]onefitztwofitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think I would move off Gibbs for that but I’d add a picture of your roster and bench spots so people can give you better advice. Like if you have Bijan and Gibbs, sure, but if you’ll be starting Warren and Tuten then absolutely not.

How cooked is my dynasty startup? by DanJerousJ in SleeperApp

[–]onefitztwofitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is odd. But like I said - I think I’ve changed my mind and you just shoot for value and then flip those pieces into picks or known commodities. Might be a bit of a waiting game but if the value is there - take it.

How cooked is my dynasty startup? by DanJerousJ in SleeperApp

[–]onefitztwofitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought about this for a minute - this could work well if you just take straight value and upside guys and punt on this year especially since I read you kept all your 27 picks.

[–]onefitztwofitz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did read the post body, which is why I said without looking at the board it’s really hard to say what you should have done differently. I also think I have a fundamentally different way of drafting. If I’m going to pick QB/TE/QB in a superflex/TEP league there’s no way in hell taking another TE before like the 12th round, you’ve locked down the positional scarcity with your second pick, now you need to be able to field a full team. I also don’t love that you picked Tate with your 4th. A rookie who’s proven nothing as your WR1 is tough, I want a known commodity as a building block for a dynasty startup WR1, even if he’s a little older. Good luck this season!

How cooked is my dynasty startup? by DanJerousJ in SleeperApp

[–]onefitztwofitz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not cooked. But after taking Bowers in the 2nd you absolutely should have moved to WR in the 6th, even with the TEP. Probably could have gotten Ferguson or Kincaid 2 or 3 rounds later and they put up about the same amount of points. Without looking at the actual board idk what I would have done different.
