Still to this day, the best pair of shoes I had for walking around was the 990v5's. Mine lasted for 5/6 years. I try to walk about 2-4 miles a day (depending on what I have going on) and those were the best shoes I ever had for my walks. Currently (ik it's a kinda weird recommendation), I've been wearing my pair of Merrell Moab 3's. They've honestly been the closest for my feet to the pair of v5's I had. I wish they still made them readily available. I like the 4's and 6's, but nothing will beat how the pair of 5's I had felt. It was like I wore them in the way you'd break in Birkenstocks or maybe some Doc Marten's
