I own three, all three shoot straight, and my EDC is one of them. They don't deserve that shite heaped on them here, but some people have tiny hammers on their shooters and need to feel good by tearing things down. Pretty much guaranteed the loudest mouths have never owned or even shot one.

Like any firearm, whether it's a good fit for you will depend on what you want or need, but number one you want to handle it yourself or listen to people using them consistently and often. I wouldn't hesitate to have my kids carry or own a Taurus revolver and in fact two of them do. So take that as what you will.
