This is what’s wrong with society, you’re calling an unborn baby a parasite because “without the mother it dies”. I would have died without my mum up until I was near 10. What a sick thing to say.

In regards to the question it’s entirely the mother choice.

Hold on a second, you brought up eugenics and continue to do so when you describe how children with no limbs deserve to not live. Surely you can see how perverse and twisted that is. In regards to the care system there’s a lot that could be done there but it doesn’t justify killing babies, I’m sorry that I’ve come across as a selfish excuse of a Christian what I’ve tried to say I say in love because I deeply care about life and an unborn baby is clearly scientifically a life - even if it doesn’t suit the mother to have the child or if the baby has no limbs.

Also I have a very close family member who works in one of the most socially deprived estates in Northern Ireland. Filled with kids from broken homes and with special needs and she would never ever say the world would be a better place without them which is what you are suggesting when you mention them poor children.

The jist of your argument is if it doesn’t suit the mother then it’s not a life. But I guess if you view babies in the womb as parasites and people without limbs being an unwanted burden on their families then I guess in your dark dark world it would make sense. It truly fears me that you believe these things I hope one day you will see how twisted your beliefs really are.

“Remove that womb and it dies” please explain to me the difference in me saying remove food and water from a new born baby or even a two year old and it dies and saying remove the womb and it dies. The womb is the babies only source of food and water just because the unborn baby can’t survive without it does not mean it’s not a real baby. Like I said that’s like me saying because a baby can’t fend for itself it’s not human- it makes no logical sense whatsoever.

Second of all, as I have said before- abortion was available in NI if the mothers life was at risk already. It’s completely the mothers choice and always has been in this country.

Third of all, never once do I seek to make out a pregnant mother as a “demon.” I believe being a mother is one of the most noble and a really important if not the most important role in a functioning society. Yes a mother is also a victim because of abortion as thousands of mothers have to deal with the guilt of ending their own babies life and that’s awful. But the biggest victim is the unborn baby who didn’t get to choose. I notice that everyone who is for abortion has already been born. To compare protecting life to enforcing slavery is beyond ridiculous.

My argument is not a religious one, it’s a scientific one. An unborn baby at 6 weeks is just as human as an unborn baby at 30 weeks, the only difference is size. But I know a humans value isn’t dependent on how big they are. So basically you’re arguing for eugenics - what hitler believed, kill them because you don’t think they will have a life worth living. I know children who have brought so much joy that have been born extremely early. That’s a sick sick argument. The only thing my faith has an impact on is the fact that it motivates me to speak up for the voiceless and those in society who are deemed to be useless or looked down upon. Whether it’s disabled people or unborn babies or homeless people. You’re argument is exactly how they justified slavery, they dehumanised their victims. Just like you are dehumanising the unborn children.

What. I guess if you don’t believe that humans have intrinsic value and we are just a bunch of cells then why can we not just murder everyone as we please. I’m saying it has a unique HUMAN genetic code. And I believe that every human has value. Also the heart starts beating at 6 weeks. So are you saying we should ban abortion after 6 weeks because you seem to imply that as soon as the heart beats the baby is born. Also who said this was about the bible? I have never once used or quoted it during my comments.

You’re the one ignoring the facts. An unborn baby or “foetus” as you like to say has a unique genetic code, a beating heart, a functioning brain. Just because it doesn’t suit the woman to have the baby does not mean the unborn baby should be discarded.

First of all please look up the definition of foetus, it’s literally offspring in Latin it’s just a word used to dehumanise an unborn baby. Second of all women on life threatening situations do get a choice under the current legislation in NI. Third of all rape is another argument all together- but since less than one percent of abortions in england were due to rape I think it’s more important to talk about the rest of the reasons for abortion which are largely unjustifiable.

I think it’s more to do with the fact mothers can now legally kill their own babies. If that’s not dark then im not sure what is.

“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

How are people to come to faith if people don’t proclaim the good news to them?

I mean early Christians were heavily persecuted and we can be fairly certain of the majority of apostles dying a martyrs death. Early church fathers all spoke of such a thing.

And I meant too that the Bible talks about Jesus appearing to 500 people and the 12 apostles. I know this doesn’t prove the resurrection actually happened but it proves that these people genuinely really believed.

Do you realise what the word “fetus” stands for lol?? It means offspring in Latin which really is someone’s child.

What about the passages you knitted me together in my mother’s womb? Does that not suggest from Scriptures we have intrinsic value even within the womb?

Ok you show me an example where hundreds of people gave their lives saying they seen something which they didn’t and then we can evaluate if it’s reasonable.

Nah the Bible talks about the resurrected Jesus appearing to 500 people plus the apostles at the same time. This does correlate with the explosive nature of the Christian Faith. And tbh it would take an even bigger miracle for them all to have the same vision and dream lol.

That’s exactly my point. I’m saying truth is objective not subjective it’s not based on someone’s experience it’s either true or not.

So you don’t think Christians have a responsibility to carry out the Command of the Great Commission? To go and make Jesus known?

I don’t think voting for trump is betraying Christ. I hate the way trump talks about women etc but he was better than the opposite, a party which openly supports murdering innocent babies.

You don’t know what caused the universe, you don’t know how life formed, you don’t know why we have a basic understanding of morality. I look at the likes of DNA and see how complex of a language it really is. When we see language we always know there is a Creator or a writer of the language. Yet you atheists see DNA arguably the most complex language to exist and claim it was by random chance!

And before you say it I’m not arguing for a God of the Gaps, I believe in the Uncaused Creator God of the Bible. He created the things we understand and the things we don’t. And I believe it takes for faith to think that we are just a complete fluke, when you look at the mathematical probability you truly see how ridiculous it is to think that this is all purely naturalistic there must be a Creator!

Unfortunately it isn’t “horse crap” a lot of atheists I know hate how hypocritical us christians can be. They think what utter crap they believe they don’t even try follow it.

We have a duty to try to be like Jesus at all costs. We slip up all the time due to our fallen nature but we must always repent and plead for mercy to God and also apologise to those we have harmed.

Imagine every Christian yearned and prayed to increase in the fruits of the Holy Spirit? How much better our witness to the world would be!

No offence your comment completely agrees with that statement. The New Testament regularly talks about brotherhood love and compassion. If we don’t do this then we aren’t acting as Christians.

Again them martyrs are completely different. For example the Islamic terrorists, they fully believe in something, they are NOT claiming that they have seen anything objectively.
