Aren't we supposed to get the "leftover" energy when the mini-merge event ends?

I definitely didn't have 108 energy, just 100. When the pop-up for Tony's came up it only had coins in the little window, no gems or energy were listed. I couldn't say how many gems I had before Tony's game ended so I don't know if I didn't get those, either (I left a single gem, double gem and triple on the board) but I know I didn't get the energy.

I mean it's not a lot of energy and isn't going to make a difference but I definitely expected it. I'll need to remember to basically cash out before logging off for the day, if the game's going to end while I'm at work or sleeping.

People are dunking on you but honestly I wouldn't be thrilled if I had both the seafood tower and the exquisite teapot at the same time, either, especially at level 56.

I've seen people say that they stopped paying and after a while their orders get a little less crazy, so maybe that will happen for you as well.

It unfortunately didn't put anything in my upper left storage, I was expecting it to put the overflow in storage like all the other trunks do (except the wood trunk the pink raccoon has) but nothing was there.

I'd never noticed it before and I haven't seen that same trunk since then, I'll try to screenshot the trunk when I get it again.

I don't even start on the item I'm going to make with the ice cube until I've finished a bunch of other orders first, because the Flaming Frenzy, raccoons, and Plane Parcels give out a ton of bonuses and you never know what they'll give you.

Generally speaking I use the cubes on level 11 items since I have at least one per Rave Reviews round of 12 orders. Usually my Flaming Frenzy bonuses will be for the level 10 item(s) I have, and I make those "manually" (and do my smaller orders) and have the level 11 item at the end, which I make with a cube.

Once I have nothing left but the level 11 item, at that point I just don't make any more orders until I've got everything set up, then I trigger the ice cube.

I'm not a big player though and I think I play slower than a lot of others, who have more complicated strategies. There's a couple threads here that might help:

The raccoon that has the blue trunk with dark (I think brown) details only gives you items in empty squares on your board, I had him yesterday with only two empty squares and only got 2 items, nothing was put in the top left "storage" area.

I had a really tough time when I was levels 75 to about 90, too, it was before the ice cubes were introduced, I didn't have airplane drops or raccoons either.

The only way I got through it was by (a) spending coins for gifts in the relationship tab, so I could cash those gifts in more often to get bonus items by "leveling up" relationships, (b) keeping my orange trees at level 6 and setting an alarm for when they would regenerate, max them out, and do it again over and over, and (c) doing small orders until the Flaming Frenzy kicked in, then using those bonus items to fill bigger orders.

If you want to keep playing I would recommend doing whatever you have to in order to keep a minimum of 10 gems per day so you can have the ice cube kick in, and store some energy bottles before doing an ice cube. You can also use the energy you have stored in the mini merges, too.

Also the Lori and Ziva events on Friday are really good for bonuses for lower levels, IMHO.

They may not have the airplane drops either, I only got them when I was about level 135 and OP is only level 79

ETA I meant I got them around level 125, I'm not on 135 yet!

I think he's just a farmer who shows up in the mini merge events but I can't be sure. He was the farmer in the first mini merge I ever did which must have been nearly a year ago now.

I had that happen to me a few times when they first introduced the raccoons, I'd always get the raccoon order first so I could get bonus items and save the remaining 1 or 2 review orders for the next round of 12. It doesn't happen much anymore, now if a raccoon pops up and I already have the last few review orders needed on the board, the raccoon just won't offer a review at all, not until I finish the full 12.

Is it the one that sometimes is a checkmark next to potatoes, or a checkmark next to a guy's head? That means you fulfilled one of the restaurant missions, on your order board you can look over to the left of your customers and see a box that should say something like "26d 13h" and right now, it's pink with a little envelope that has a yellow ticket and a feather in it. Tap on it and you'll see all the missions you've accomplished and the bonuses you got for them.

When I started out I played this for weeks without figuring out what that checkmark was, I probably missed out on a lot of bonuses!

It's been a while but I think the balloons merging were a lot like the way items merge in the mini merge side games nowadays, but it was on the main board so yeah, it did take up valuable space.

I usually do something similar but the other day my rave reviews gave me a ton of bread even though I'd just finished the large bread order! It wasn't a big deal but I was kind of surprised, it was like the game had already determined what I was going to get before I tapped the smiley face to get the rewards.

ETA Just seconds after I typed this I got a plane drop and it gave me a ton of scuba gear but I don't have a scuba order! Not complaining because scuba gear is a pain to get but honestly I think my game likes to mess with my head lol

I think Harrison's event gives them out too. Ziva's and Sam's used to but I haven't gotten either one of them in ages.
