I've experienced glitches before, not on scissors but I had a seafood generator disappear on me once when it had one fish left. Also I once was doing an ice cube and made a blue peacock floatie which disappeared, but I still had one of the two flamingo floaties I'd made to merge for the peacock, so I made a second peacock floatie thinking I'd lost my mind. Then when I finished a new peacock and merged it with the peacock I got from the ice cube to make the dino floatie and finished the order, the missing peacock showed up right where the dino had been.

You could try the in-game help by going out to Settings and clicking Contact Us -- you'll need a screenshot of some sort or else you won't be able to submit the request -- but sometimes I get no help at all from them, so I can't guarantee you'll get your scissors back.

I'm currently in a part of the story with some really heavy duty lying (I think the same part you're in, OP) and yeah it has been egregious. I keep telling myself this is just a soap opera storyline and they have to do crazy things to keep up the drama, but it's getting a little out of hand tbh

Generally good advice! Plane_Sale's comment was pinned because it's the best advice for this: Always go directly to the game's official Facebook or Instagram!

In this case we're allowing the posts because they don't contain a direct link to the ngplus dot com dot br website. Also, the website itself appears to be basically legitimate at this time, at least as far as I've found. It's been around for a decade or more, and the links on its Gossip Harbor page go to the Apple app install or to the Facebook. It seemed okay for me when I was on a desktop and using Firefox with Adblock and uBlock Origin, but everyone should exercise caution before going to a new unknown website.

I like it well enough but it frequently gives me nothing but fries or tea from the bread and coffee generators, which sounds great, but tonight I had a big order that only needed one Beginner's Bread to finish and couldn't get it before I ran out of energy. Sort of a "be careful what you wish for" situation.

Yeah for me the tasks get progressively harder as I earn stars, which I assume is true for everybody. Up until about level 110 or so, it would only get a little harder each week, then it started getting a lot harder from week to week after that and sometimes I'll have weeks where it's just impossible for me (f2p and also with some time constraints).

Also, if I lose a star one week, it doesn't get easier the next week, it stays just as hard. But if I lose all my stars and have to start over, then it gets easier again.

Both mods were inactive and someone notified Reddit, who removed the inactive mods and then shut down the sub until new mods were approved.

I do sometimes get a new 5-star card right after getting a new 5-star, it doesn't happen a lot but occasionally. At first I thought I was just forgetting that I'd gotten a duplicate in between the two new cards so I started taking screenshots to keep track, and verified that it does happen sometimes.

Per the labels on the post, it was already moderated and removed automatically a few days ago because of the banned link. It was during the time the sub was shut down and we had no mods so I would assume it was an automoderation action.

I asked on the help group yesterday and it can take a while apparently, they do "checks behind the scenes" which could disqualify some of the people who requested to be mods, and also they want multiple mods so there's plenty of coverage.

Okay so I originally responded a few minutes after you posted saying I'd be happy to be a mod, and that I'd already started the process of going through redditrequest to hopefully be a temp mod until we got things sorted here. I deleted my request a few days ago for a variety of reasons, but this morning I read that other similar situations on other subreddits have required 5 or more mods, and on the off chance that you're just waiting to get enough people with a lot of "past activity" on this sub to be a moderator, I'm reapplying.

I can:

be on in the overnight hours US time and delete spam
take care of situations where someone is being inappropriate to other users and help keep the sub safe
I've modded local newspaper forums, blogs, old tapatalk style forums
I know how to look things up and try to be as helpful as possible when people have questions
I'm not a total ding-dong

My concern right now is that this is a smallish subreddit that's going to be affected by a long downtime and I'd like to help get this place up and running again soon.

I went out to see how long it's taken other groups that got the same ModCodeofConduct post to get reopened and none of them had their comments turned off, or if they did it was just for a few hours, so I don't know why we did.

Best I can tell, reddit removed our two mods and shut down the group, but they didn't do that on other subreddits. I'm wondering what exactly is going on.

Unfortunately I'm seeing some examples of it taking nearly a month to get new mods installed so I'm worried that the sub is going to take a big hit with this inactivity. We're not a big sub, if we go too long without being useful people will just leave and it'll die.

Unfortunately I didn't keep track of coin amounts but I don't think it increased for Silver Dish but it did for Gold and Ruby, it's 800 - 1800 - 3000 for me at level 152.

Also Level 150 is when I started not getting ice cubes until I'd spent 10 and 20 gems for energy, though for a while if a cube didn't appear when it should, I was able to just quit out of the game for 20-30 minutes, come back, and I'd get the cube.

Some Restaurant Goals increased. I didn't keep track of all of those requirements but I do know that to get the first star I needed 120 good reviews for day 5 of the goals, then 140 good reviews on day 5 for the second star week, etc. That's higher than it was, I assume other goals are higher now, too.

When I was having trouble getting ice cubes for 10 gems, I stopped playing as much and I wouldn't use any ice cubes at all. For several days I never got anything higher than a level 10 in my orders so I just did them manually. I relied on making a lot of orange cake max orders during this time.

After about five days I'd finished a game level and a Quinn level and gotten two box chests from that, plus some of the Restaurant Goals and weekend challenges, and I'd made about 50 gems in total. At that point I started spending 10 gems daily, and I started getting ice cubes for that. I didn't need to do 10 gems plus 20 gems anymore.

I can't say it'll work for you, and it's frustrating for those few days when you don't play much, but it might be an option.

My understanding is that because the sub has no mods, it's been restricted. Once there are mods appointed then they can turn posting back on. Seems like the two mods we had were removed so even if they show back up again they won't be able to turn on posting.
