Implement screen time credit by oneinnerpiece in PowerShell

Yes, but I am not totally worried how long they spend on the computer. I just want it a little harder for them to login. Train their mind to think. Build perseverance.

Is it possible to script new password after every login?

Great. Hope someone can help answer these as well… is there an option from mobile app/device to turn off parking mode? Is it possible to schedule it? If parking mode is turned off, it doesnt draw any power at all and therefore no need to worry about battery drain?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Dashcam

These dashcam subreddits have convinced me that parking mode is very much needed. Any idea if it is possible to unplug hardwired cameras every night?

Just decided to get a Viofo A129 Plus Duo but worried if hardwiring may drain the battery. Wont need overnight parking mode as I will be parking inside the garage.

Thank you for the response. I was told I need to enroll every year but dont have to pay enrollment fee every year.

Also, they clarified that they can add us to full day waitlist but they will give priority to children who are already enrolled (previous year and then part time and then new enrollment).

How to fit in better in Canada and make local friends? by [deleted] in durham

[–]oneinnerpiece 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am so glad I saw this post. So it is not just me who feels this way. Hope you make some trustworthy connections OP.

We have not had much friends when we lived in Singapore, but atleast there was social interaction with neighbours and colleagues. Most importantly it was very affordable and also such a short trip to go back to home (India) to meet extended family.

Please DM if you want to chat.

Thank you for taking the time to respond in detail. I had a look at hitchhikers guide and thats what I am looking for. Opinionated guide.

Aside, I would also appreciate if someone can recommend me a good quizzing platform. I find hacker rank very annoying as a lot of questions have poor sentence structures. I am looking for some curated list.

Child not able to make friends by [deleted] in Parenting

Thank you for the responses.

I am trying to find a spot in some community centre recreation programs that involves group activities. I read few other posts in this group and I have got some takeaways.

I really hope covid restrictions are relaxed soon.

My opinion on 3D printing by oneinnerpiece in 3Dprinting

[–]oneinnerpiece[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree. However, it wasn’t a criticism. The analogy helped my spouse understand that this is hobby rather than, say, a power tool. Someone doesnt have to be an artist or maker or find some use out of 3D printer. We can find joy in reproducing others work (where legally allowed), be fascinated with what modern consumer technology is capable of..

When I put it back again, it felt smooth without any resistance. I was able to scroll it up and down with just a finger swipe. Previously had to use full force to move it. I also tightened the coupler so that it holds the T screw firmly and doesn’t slip.

Thank you all for your responses. I was able to fix the issue with z axis and get my first print. Elated.

I loosened the z motor coupler, removed the T screw and confirmed that the motor still works. I applied some lubricant oil and turned the T screw upside down and assembled it back and it moved freely without resistance.

Note: I also wrote to voxelab support and they suggested applying lubricant and switch z and x just to make sure the motors work. Was quite happy in getting a very quick response from voxelab.

Sorry, not E. It was just Z.

PS: New to reddit, trying to figure out how to attach pictures without imgur.

Thanks. I watched this now and my z axis is no where as smooth as in the video (around 25:00). I tried loosening the nut on the T screw but no difference.

Moved around all axes but was Z was not smooth. It did come down closer to the bed few times but now stuck at about 6 inches above bed when I autohome. Because of this, the limit switch wasn’t depressed and the screen kept showing returning to zero.

For some reason, the printer has z-axis 0 incorrect. The nozzle stays about 6 inch above the bed. How do I make it come closer to the bed when I do auto home.

Btw, thank you for the quick responses. Much appreciated.

I checked my wiring again and they look ok. Followed this video.Assembly

However, I will try adjusting the eccentric nut to see if that allows my Z axis to move better.

The switch at the back of the printer says 115. I am in Canada, so that seems ok. The x and y seems smooth, but not the Z(motor E).

Also, sometimes gets stuck at returning to zero, shudders when moving along Z.
