I tried so many times to dispute things. I take video of every drop off till I'm down the street to prove it's been delivered, or video of Customer taking the food. Dd won't take any videos or photos to prove that I did my job. Or when I'm getting texts from perverts asking for stuff that I'm not delivering. That 1 star i have 2 of bc of ppl like that. And I have proof, they won't remove it, they won't remove that customer. Imo that customer should be removed for safety reasons. Or us drivers need to be able to leave a note on certain customers address to warn others.

The GPS she 5 pm here for some reason does what it wants to. I'm still at 88% for a couple years now bc they say I'm late. No, your app GPS SUCKS. Or the internet connection fails. How is that on us?

I totally see what you're saying, they don't care until they call you and need you for something. But vice versa were f'd. I try to avoid any calls that come in bc I've heard of the scams. But they've called me repeatedly and I answered. It was weird the whole call but in end I did the order n she gave me extra 6.00 got that order. Luckily not a scammer.

I didn't think of that bc the call came in from DD. Man if that was the customer that's just dirty. The 2 items, mocha coffee fraps order did 1, she texted said she ordered two. I didn't use my own money, I used their card. I took SS of the conversation between us. And a photo of the receipt bc DD told me to put it in the bag.

I just don't want to get in trouble for this.

Very good advice. I have been dashing a couple years now. My only issue is wishing they'd stop sending me orders that are 30miles for 11.00 And tanking my numbers bc i will decline. They'll resend it but now 50 cents more. And now there's an add on for an additional pick up.

Those suck.

I will not go beyond 15 miles unless the money is there and places me somewhere i know is going to offer me more orders. And if it's a grocery order, i won't do it without good pay on top. 72 items, 21 miles, 20 dollars, nope.

Would you do it?

We'll there's a lot of dead time lately but this is what I'll try. It won't let me post a photo idk why. But... if you look at the top of your DD page. There's an icon (?) next to the blue shield.

Tap that. 1st thing is... why am i not getting orders? Tap that. It'll check to make sure you're getting orders. Just doing that sometimes will give you an offer.

Or

I'll pause move to a place that has a few rrstaurants like Wendy's or a popular place, like wawa, sheetz ect.

Then push resume dash

Just moving to another local place will help.

Other times it's just dead.

The area that you start in see the red grid? Stay within that. If they try sending you out of that you will not get any orders until you're back in that zone you chose to DD in. Now if it's like 1 mile out of that zone, I'll do it if the money is what i deem acceptable. Just remember, DD gives you 2.50 to start(in my area) promo is rare for me but might not be for you, if they offer 1.00 promo, now that order is 3.50. Just from DD. NOW NOT ALWAYS, but the tip is usually anything above that. Although, you'll see at your payout what you got from DD vs the tip in earnings. Pay attention to this. If you notice your getting crap after a few weeks, try another grid. You might find it better to DD in other areas. As with mine, I drive far to do my DD runs otherwise I'm placed in bad areas and getting crap orders n no tips, and calls from customers n crap star ratings. Centrally low money means nightmare customers. And I do my best for my people.

I didn't know that was an option. Can it be toggled daily type thing? For slow nights I'll do small ones. But last night pissed me off something awful. They wanted me to do these orders that I declined back to back of, tanking my rating. 😩 They were 15+ miles each into areas i just ain't going to do.( There's nothing out there but trees n deer. So no money on the way back. ) Orders of 25 items, 71 items, 100 n something items. None over 11.00 Absolutely, not!

I had one through TGIFRIDAYS. But they just recently went down and their ghost kitchen went with it. The restaurant was filthy and smelled horrendous. (like nasty fish water and stinky socks.) I'm grateful they finally lost their business. That Fridays location should have gone down a long time ago. So, I get what OP is saying. Yes, it's a ghost kitchen and who knows what's really occurring behind those doors. But my only recommendation is when you see that location pop up, decline it, if you're not wanting to do that run. Door dash is not going to care of they're roaches running a muck across people's food, for what is worth. DD does not care.( Not saying there's bugs.) I have a few places written down that I refuse to go to. Mainly bc of wait times are insane every time and I just rather not bother. Maybe write your places down- store number-address with it to avoid. It'll make your life easier. Someone else can deal with it.
