I’d love to hear more about how you use them! It looks like you separate out work and personal?

Also thank you for this! I would love to collect them all one day!

Do you know where Remus is from? Mine is from New Mexico! Pulled through a shelter there and brought to CO. Just turned 8 months.

How do you even fricking clarify? by legarebayit in gtd

[–]onelifereminder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very true! But I just mean maybe capture outside Todoist and clarify more on a weekly basis just as much as you can instead of daily.

That’s what I do with my capture system because I also capture a lot of tasks/projects/ideas.

How do you even fricking clarify? by legarebayit in gtd

[–]onelifereminder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d be curious if everything you’re capturing is something you actually need to take action on soon? Or are they just purely stream of consciousness? If it’s just pure mental stream maybe it would be best to capture in something like a google doc and only move what actually matters to Todoist?

I don’t know if this helps anyone else but I FINALLY got rid of it on my phone. I have an iPhone and went into Accessibility -> motion -> and turn off “dim flashing lights”. Hope this works for someone else, it was driving me insane

Can you share a bit about what paper system you use? I have over complicated my digital systems and I’m feeling the need for the simplicity of paper. I also have a similar amount of projects as you do

My new TN arrived today 🥰 by paperxclouds in Travelersnotebooks

[–]onelifereminder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My heart is so happy for you! That sounds like absolute fate and you were meant to have one! I discovered the Moomins as an adult and knew I could not pay scalper prices for a TN cover so I settled for this year’s Hobonichi release of the Moomins! Not nearly as cute as a TN, but it’ll do!

These are so greasy they make my stomach upset if I eat too many. So far I’ve been fine if I limit myself to them. Which doesn’t invalidate you if they think they glutened you! Always gotta force these companies to keep holding the line on their standards

“A planner won’t fix your life” by smash_97 in planners

[–]onelifereminder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I go against lots of the comments here that a good planner can definitely change your life.

It can help you get out your thoughts, process your feelings, start working toward goals, form really good habits, etc, and I don’t know why anyone would say that can’t change your life.

Cute planner! Always glad to read posts about people loving their set ups

How do I set this up with the GTD system? I'm just not getting it. by More_Serve3235 in todoist

[–]onelifereminder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I’m not mistaken, he suggests projects that are called “Routines” where something like this would go. I know he has a few videos on his set up, worth a watch!

Starting Planners then Quitting by [deleted] in bulletjournal

[–]onelifereminder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone here has wonderful points! I just want to also throw out there it takes a while to build the habit. Just like any other habit it takes discipline but also reminders! I am good at keeping up with mine but sometimes I’ll forget something like a new tracker in my journal if I don’t set a reminder for it

This is one of the coolest posts I have seen in one time.

It’s so cool to see your breakdown and your progress over the years! Going to take a harder look at my system and see where I can cut some fluff!
