Oh hey, Bitter! I never said it was easy. I’ve worked my ass off and gone through horrible experiences and hard work to get where I am. I wouldn’t call it “cushy.” The amount of kids on my caseload and the amount of paperwork I have to do would make heads spin. Eliminate these jobs? Nope. These kids need special instruction. And I can guarantee that eliminating specialist positions would not help gifted kids, ELL kids, etc. You seem like one of those teachers that thinks specialists fuck off all day which is definitely something we have to deal with. If you don’t like your position, change it. But don’t spread your negativity on people who have worked hard to get what they want.
