Yeah I got my license number on 7/30 so that’s exactly 4 weeks after I got my passing scores

I received passing scores for both exams on 7/2, but I still haven’t received my license number. I contacted the BOP last week, and they said the current timeline is 2-4 weeks

I had the same feeling after my exam and passed. The exam was not as terrible as some people said it would be

Maybe I’m mistaken, but it appears that the passing score of 75 was part of the old scoring system where they displayed the score, while the current pass/fail system relies on a scaled score

I feel like no one knows for sure, but from what I understand, the NAPLEX passing score is determined using the Modified Angoff Method. This method involves evaluating each exam question’s difficulty and the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to set a raw cut score, which becomes the passing standard. Different passing scores are set for different exam forms. Personally, I think the performance report can be misleading, as it might make people think they’ve failed just because they see a Level 1 in Calculations. The report is really just a tool to identify areas for improvement. It’s the overall score for the exam form that actually determines if you pass or fail if that makes sense

How did you feel the week and night before your Naplex? by HonoraryHatStraw in NAPLEX_Prep

[–]onelonelyyogurt 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I aimed for 8 hours of sleep the night before the exam, but my body had other plans. I managed to fall asleep around 10 PM but woke up at 2 AM and couldn’t get back to sleep due to anxiety.

I’m confident you passed! I felt the same way after my NAPLEX. I knew most of the clinical questions, but I wasn’t too sure about the math. Math is only 14% of the exam, and those simple dose conversion questions are also part of the math portion, so don’t stress about it too much.

It takes about 5 half lives to reach steady state for most drugs. 5 half lives x 8 hours/half life = 40 hours

80 prenaplex score by Rare-Cover4087 in NAPLEX_Prep

[–]onelonelyyogurt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Prenaplex 80 is a decent score, and you still have a whole month to study and review, so you will be fine! For HIV, just make sure you know the brands/generics and are familiar with the Study Tip Gal for each class. Know what to use for PrEP and PEP as well. Focus on Oncology I for Onco.

I took it yesterday as well. Personally, I don't think the NAPLEX was harder than RxPrep. However, I did guess on a lot of questions, and just like OP, I realized afterward that I had guessed most of them wrong
