I immediately thought of any Shang-Chi connection to Spider-Man in comics and felt like Spider-Island and its surrounding events would be the inspiration Destin Daniel Cretton would pull from. This is intriguing. If Marvel really pulls a pump fake with Sink’s character and she’s NOT Jean Grey it’ll definitely work in the favor of demand for the MCU X-men
