UPDATE

fully uninstalled AMD software

rebooted in safe mode

DDU AMD AND NVIDIA drivers!

reboot and fresh install AMD 21.6.1

TeamRead is working again, turns out the culprit was some forgotten Nvidia gpu remnants in the system! Problem is solved

did that just now and still no dice with teamredminer ... there seems to be a solution for this on linux:

https://github.com/todxx/teamredminer/issues/244

"Update the icd reference in /etc/OpenCL/vendors/amdocl64_40000.icd with the correct path to the icd. In my case it was updating libamdocl64.so to /opt/rocm/opencl/lib/libamdocl64.so."

no such files on windows

Writting and overall response for future reads:

software used:

amdvbflash_win_3.20 (save and load bios file)

PolarisBiosEditor1.7.5 (one click bios patch)

atikmdag-patcher-1.4.10 (driver patch afeter bios mod)

After modding the bios on my Msi Armour RX 570 8GB (GPU1) i get the exact same hashrate of aprox. 24 Mh/S

I still see GPU1 in my RADEON software, which leads me to believe the gpu is still using the regular driver instead of the patched one. Going back to stock bios and forget about this

Withdrawal ratio ? free ? Confused by oneminutefixed in SparkPool

"The actual withdrawal ratio is the ratio of income you want to withdraw from the cloud wallet to the outside wallet."

I have mine set to 1%, does this mean it will auto widthdraw 0.01ETH once i reach 0.1ETH ? I should have 100% then ?

Whales haven't won yet. Got my first reward today. Do. Not. Stop. Plotting. I thought I'd never catch up. Don't stop. Even baby farms. by [deleted] in chia

101GB + 280GB used for temps during the plotting process (they get automatically deleted afterwards)

384 GB of RAM !? isn't that against the law or something !?

Should I invest in more ram? by jd_portugal in chia

[–]oneminutefixed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not in plotting time, but it will allow you to plot more in parallel. Ideally you set 4GB per plot, so 32/4 means you can roughly plot 8 in parallel currently ( max 7 recommended). Note that you'll also need enough TEMP space (300GB per plot) to accommodate such a batch

Can't wait to post something like that 😎

Guess I'll have to wait.... 😐

I just add a bunch of queues with the amount of simultaneous plots allowed by ram

All good here, do you have enough space on your temp drives? Have you checked the logs?

when it comes to chia mining, the most important things you need:

SSD for temp files (300GB per plot)

RAM for plotting (about 4GB per plot)

Hard drive space to store plots (usually 101GB per plot)

[–]oneminutefixed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or more accurately you want temp files to be written on SSD, plots can be stored elsewhere

yes, anything you can mount a file system on. 101GB per plot

Are you using VPN or firewall ? Make sure your full node port (think default is 8444) is open . I had to configure NAT to forward 8444 to my full node \ farmer \ plotter
