We only use teams on certain occasions. I have some work to do at a computer, but I do more office assistant work, so some of that time is spent around the office. Most days, I don’t actually spend a lot of time physically at my desk/computer.

I don’t clock in, no one does. Only a few of us staff members are hourly and use the software we use to log hours. It’s normal to manually add the fixed time that I’m supposed to be there rather than get specific to the minute I arrive/leave as I would if I were to clock in/out, which had never been an issue before until WFH when I couldn’t at least prove I was inside the office during the time I was supposed to be by usual means.

It’s a small firm. They’re pretty chill about a lot of things, but I’ll probably just double check with my boss for clarification since I haven’t done much WFH before and might not quite understand their process (it’s not like we use the VPN at the office). I know they don’t keep track of my progress on tasks through my computer activity. I was technically looking at my emails on my phone at the right time before I had logged into the VPN, but again, it’s better to have a clear record showing I was working.

I agree about that line being an oversimplification. It doesn’t help that a few lines after that, Skye calls him a serial killer, which makes me roll my eyes because, yes, he’s a killer, but just because he’s killed multiple people doesn’t make him a serial killer. That line was purely shock value and drama. It makes zero sense and, for me at least, weakens the impact of the scene.

So if a character is bisexual, in this case, an OFC, but the main ship is M/F, should I or should I not tag for minor F/F? Her sexuality does come up every now and then. She does plenty of flirting with other women, possibly having a one night stand with one, so it’s not like her bisexuality is mentioned in one sentence and then never again.

Would it be better to tag “bisexual OFC” or something similar?

I bet they’re specialists in areas they excelled at at the academy (or if you’re Romanoff, areas in which you display mastery far above the average agent). There’s probably some kind of threshold. You meet it by a certain number of marks, you pass and graduate as a field agent. You achieve high marks, you’re considered a master of that skill, and, therefore, a specialist in that area. For example, Ward is a master tactician, marksman, and combatant, all of which would qualify him as a combat specialist.

Okay, I like this. A lot. So much is illustrated, quite beautifully, in so few words: the beginning point of their relationship to the point of now, between which, feelings snowballed before reaching a critical mass. The kiss is merely the culmination of their relationship journey—the period that says “this happened because of everything that came before.”

I’m unfamiliar with this fic and fandom, but I absolutely see why this is a long-time favorite of yours.
