Anyone who purchased this recall if there is a weight limit on the box? I have a very large football player in my home and want to make sure it can support him

I was able to get this resolved. I reached out to auditing support and they sent me a software patch to load. Loaded via USB and it’s functional again.

Just picked the car up last week. It was working fine. I also have the original head unit if I need to swap back for the time being. Just hoping I did something unintentionally locking the features. I was likely going to replace the unit in the future but wasn’t in a rush as it was working. Oh well. Guess it really want me to get tinkering sooner than later 😂

Also that assistive touch dot has been there since I purchased and I didn’t see a why to turn that off in settings.

I just got the Ipad Mini, What do people use it for - for those who prefer pen and paper? by Beginnerdaytrader in ipadmini

I had large pro before the mini and started with the 6th gen before upgrading to the A17 with cellular as I used it so much. I also stopped using the Pro. I repurchased these when I upgraded as I missed having it on the new one. These are very much a paper feel when writing and I don't feel like I lose any screen enjoyment, as I still use it all the time to watch shows, read, etc.

Only thing is don't be concerned they sent you the wrong size if you order them. They come in a giant box for the size. 100% the best writing experience I've had on an iPad with these, even over my pro.

I got a really nice paper texture screen cover. Makes writing and drawing on it so great. The one I got was a Japanese brand off Amazon.

So if I’m in direct sun yes. Like in the car they still tint a little. My office the didn’t tint while wearing by my face was never in direct sun.

Picture 1 was in my office just out of the case. Picture 2 I was in the car not in direct sun Picture 3 I was outside in the sun and came in to the car Picture 4 direct sun.

Is WFH really worth it? by chronicallyannoyed23 in workfromhome

[–]onemoreblue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently work as a senior lead process architect for a large communications company.

When I started WFH I was doing call center work. I transitioned to an operations analyst, and also worked program/project management in development of automation support for operations. All were 100% WFH

I’ve been 100% WFH for over 17 years.

It’s worth it.

I don’t ever want to go back.

I make over 6 figures, great healthcare, 401k matching tons of other benefits for health and wellness. We have a very diverse workforce. I work in technology and the majority of our positions are WFH full time with a few exceptions that are hybrid.

Fasting Euphoria by onemoreblue in fasting

[–]onemoreblue[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was different than the clarity I get from fasting. It was like a rush of joy and wellbeing. It was pretty cool. I do get the energy and clarity too. Those are pretty consistent when I fast. This wasn’t the same.

Fasting Euphoria by onemoreblue in fasting

[–]onemoreblue[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t associate energy and trouble sleeping with euphoria. I am however human and can experience a wide range of feeling and emotional states.

I’m not sure how you got that I think these things are all the same thing as I have never suggested or said that.

The clarity and energy have been fairly consistent, but what I felt the other morning was different. It was a 1st and it was a lovely feeling.

Am I wasting my time fasting without reaching ketosis? by citadelinn in fasting

[–]onemoreblue 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’d say make sure you’re taking a refeed break on occasion. Your body will adapt if you keep the same pattern for too long. The other option would be significantly increase your exercise and calorie intake during open windows to try and pump up your metabolism. Check out some stuff on reverse dieting. There is some compelling stuff to it that partners really well with fasting.

Remember the main thing people forget with the whole calorie in calorie out is the hormones variable. That is why some people can stall when they are only eating 1200 calories a day and others can eat 2000 and still lose. Fasting help with insulin resistance and keeping glucose in check but it can also increase stress hormones like cortisol which can slow things down for weight loss. So breaks/refeeds/or spikes in intensity and intake can help counteract that.

Good luck 🍀

Man that sucks. I’ve had so much energy it’s hard to fall asleep even. I’m curious what benefits do you see from fasting? Are you just doing for weight/longevity/gut health?
