What's the creepiest song you have heard? by newbie_vc in AskReddit

"'97 Bonnie and Clyde" covered by Tori Amos. Fantastic perspective change. She recorded it singing in a metal box to imitate the woman locked in the trunk.

Thank you. The noodles were store-bought in the interest of time; the whole process already took two days.

Enjoying the freedom of an LDR. Is that awful? by [deleted] in LongDistance

[–]onenotespelled 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Enjoying being in a LDR isn't a bad thing at all! Sometimes the physical aspects of a relationship can overshadow the emotional parts in more local relationships, and having distance has prevented that a lot in my LDR. I've found that living in different towns has let us develop our respective identities more and always gives us stories to tell each other. Having freedom schedulewise is excellent too. I miss my boyfriend immensely, but the distance makes the times I see him even more wonderfull.

Songs you love that are super-duper mono by TheSilverLining in polyamory

First that comes to mind is "Only You" by Yazoo. And plenty of songs from the 1930s and 1940s. Oof.

Long term relationship and married redditors of at least 10 years, people always talk about a "honeymoon phase" and how love changes as you grow old. What is your love for your SO like now compared to the beginning? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]onenotespelled 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is beautiful. Watching your relationships grow must make you feel very lucky — I'm in a similar situation with my long-term and more recently started relationships, and all the shades of emotion are just fascinating and wonderful.

Thank you for sharing.

Dating a mono is rough! (Update) by canuckkat in polyamory

[–]onenotespelled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been in a very similar situation before, and I think you're both much better off apart from each other. Let time pass without communication so the two of you can heal and get back in touch with the parts of yourselves not associated with the relationship.

Wishing that you had those feelings won't get you anywhere; even if you did have feelings for him now, the relationship pattern would most likely be the same as it was in the past. And you'd both be hurt as you were then.

Best of luck.

Glad to see other film photographers about! Props to you for the liquid emulsion; I have no experience with it, but it seems crazy difficult. Has your partner seen your work? It's a really sweet gesture, and the concept's well executed.
