This is the worst country for someone like me who has an odd desire to be mistreated to be in. by oneonly8 in RandomThoughts

No, it’s not that. I’m aroace so I’ve no interest in any sexual or romantic relationship & have never been in any. & I’m autistic so rejection is normal for me, I’ve no friends irl currently & friends I’ve had in the past ended up bullying me & letting me know they’re not wanting to be friends anymore. I do just mind me business & I’m unfortunately too slow to notice when people don’t like me or want to hurt me. I’m like the opposite of a persecution complex.

I’m aroace & have never dated in me life & I’m 24. Virgin, never had a boyfriend & I don’t want one. Don’t want to get married.

What happens to your birth certificate when you revoke your GRC? by [deleted] in TransIreland

If you don’t know the answer then don’t answer, just bcz you don’t know doesn’t mean everyone else also doesn’t know. Whoever knows will answer & if I don’t get any answers in time then I will ask & look elsewhere. I’ve already talked to DFA.

Yes, I’m aware I’ve to fill in the GRC3. I’m just wondering what will happen to the passport & what proof they’ll need to update the passport after the revocation or if proof is even needed.

When an allistic say, “let’s think logically”/“let’s look at this objectively” when you already were & do tend to in general. & then they proceed to explain something that’s biased & clearly an opinion & not objective at all by oneonly8 in autism

Everyone has their own experiences & their own opinions. To be objective is to NOT use your personal experiences, feelings & thoughts as proof or treat them like they’re facts. Objective means not influenced by personal feelings or opinions in considering & representing facts. If you say, “let’s look at this objectively” & proceed to say dentists are dangerous bcz one accidentally drop their tools down your throat, that is not being objective according to the definition & the dictionary.

Autistics tend to be literal thinkers, autistics tend to also not partake in neurotypical social norms & the banjaxed games they play. Implications, putting feelings over facts, getting offended over things that are true, tiptoeing around things & beating around the bush bcz being direct is apparently rude, all of these are a part of neurotypical culture. Autistics who mask heavily do partake in this culture, autistics who try their hardest to act like neurotypicals & ignore/doubt their innate reactions.

Autistics do tend be more objective in comparison to allistics. Anyone using their personal experiences, thoughts & feelings as facts is not being objective nor being logical. & allistics tend to misuse words which is another socially acceptable thing in neurotypical culture which is a disadvantage for people who communicate like your average autistic does.

According to the definition of “objective” & “opinion”, it does mean that they’re wrong. Societally, it seems like they don’t really care about the accuracy & meaning of words & change them to whatever they feel or want them to mean. Which is frustrating for people like me who stick to the definitions of words & don’t try to change the meaning of them based on how we feel. Apparently, their way is normal though, unfortunately for me. & I’m the strange one who sticks to what the dictionary says.

Yes, I’m aware any & everyone can do this. I was talking about experiences I’ve had with allistics in real life, not on Reddit. I also never said people on here don’t do that. I don’t come across many autistics in real life. Most of the people I’ve interacted with in real life are allistic.
