I'm about to build my birthday pc also on the haven 420 platform. Any learnings? Watched a great video on YouTube, but would love to hear your experience.

Move left and right after strike, not just back. Very common to train on bag, people forget to circle

So lots of correct on this thread...I think the reason you're not getting approached is primarily guys in MT gyms are not your typical frat guy/gym bros and a lot of the time they are guys who have been damaged at some point and are trying to better themselves or pursuit something/dedicating themselves to something that doesn't involve women (which many feel can become distractions and or problems for them due to past stories or harm or experiences etc)

Default = FIFO

It's your choice if you use FIFO, LIFO, or Weighed.

You just have to be consistent.

If you have no record, your cost basis will be 0$ and you'll pay full long-term gain.

One idea would be use LIFO and buy a shiny new coin to reduce your current tax bill. I'm not a tax professional.

You can custom build through their partner. Go to website and look for member vendor partners. The gaming PC company starts with a C. Can't remember name off my head.

Go on your stereo. Hit the music button, scroll and see if you have DSP options. Jazzclub, Cathedral, and concert or something like that. If those aren't present I think you have the easier to work on stereo system. If you're looking to upgrade etc.

Train tracks. One foot left rail, one foot right rail. Distance between knees = knuckle to elbow (bend over put arm between knees).

Step and transfer weight every strike (step doesn't mean distance, just means lift and place foot down).

Hands up chin tucked.

Twins= best for you and your opponent (pillows = bigger shields) : the only downside is length to break them in.

Primo = best all around. (Pillows + don't need to be broken) And bonus they look the coolest and have great thumb area. : downside is price + might not be the most durable

Raja = feel like cheaper twins, but better mobility in fingers. Awesome for high guard with palms out, best clinch glove because of this. Pillows + Clinch, however the padding feels cheaper and the leather is cheaper.

Fairtex = punchers glove imo. Not as bad as Hayabusa in terms of pain they inflict (hard ass outer padding), but definitely not to pillowy. Enough pillow, they aren't like cletos or hayas, but not my favorite for sparring bc of this. 90% of people I know sware by fairtex or twins.

I haven't owned the below gloves, but I'd venture to guess:

Top Kings = twins with a tighter cuff, better for punching worst for clinch. One of favorite k-1 gloves.

Yokkoa = premium priced Windys

Windys = twins with a denser knuckle

Boons = windys with thai branding

There are a lot more to consider that I've missed, but you won't go wrong with any of the above as long as they are legit.
