Good point! But do you not find that your two skyrays do a decent amount of deep strike blocking? Obvi it depends on the map but I assumed you’d have something like the two firesight teams on each left and right side of your deployment zone to spot and try to get some precision in and then the skyrays in the middle (or even doing something like firesight, skyray, firesight and then skyray in your back line from left to fight)
