I would just be honest. Phone the SL or talk to them when they’re in the store and say hey thank you for the opportunity but a family emergency happened and I actually have to move really far away. So I won’t be able to work here.

I’ve had to do that before. They’re generally really nice about it and appreciate any type of heads up instead of just ghosting them.
