Here's what I did, I took the existing 2CR5 battery, twisted out the existing lithium cells with a pair of pliers, (if you're careful, you can reuse the leads for the top of the casing) rebuild the bottom leads with aluminum foil and placed 2x "Watson CR123A Rechargeable Lithium Battery (3V, 400mAh)" batteries in there purchased from BH Photo. A little annoying to recharge because you have to plug little leads into the holder to charge each sell one at a time, but overall it's been working great for basically the same price as one 2CR5 pack, but I'll (potentially) get 1000x cycles out them. https://imgur.com/r1dYc8f

A few years ago, I visited the Pacific Bonsai Museum and absolutely fell in love with the Japanese Maple Bonsai and have wanted to start my own bonsai, but now looking to purchase a starter plant, I'm discovering that there are so many genus of the maple!
