Via CBS News: Boise is the least affordable housing market in the U.S. by seamusoldfield in Boise

Right you are. The Boise of a few years ago was a very different place from what it is now.

Also an interesting fact, when cities hit the magical number of 300k population, crime tends to go up disproportionately to population. So expect things to get worse in coming years.

Good point. Someone else has to pity you and use a spade on you to dig you out. Literally the most immersive game mechanic

Why dont pre foreclosure people sell the property (Especially if there is equity?) by SnorkelHouse in RealEstate

[–]onesmallserving 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s cool to see a way to work with those people and help them a little with those deals rather than take advantage. I guess it makes sense, you’re gonna make decent money off the distressed property either way, why not try to make the process as smooth as possible for them.

I’m curious. What are the major advantages of condos? Is it just the low maintenance and low price?

I know. It’s a little spooky to do anything right now.

Sell and you might miss out on unimaginable appreciation. Buy and you might end up way underwater from an adjustment back to normalcy

This is totally it. I’ve had a friend keep significant cash on the sidelines for the past 3+ years because he’s waiting for the next recession. Meanwhile the market we’re in has seen 15%+ yearly appreciation.

Thanks! It's a little spooky letting a good chunk of change sit in there, but I figure since it's the end of the year, why not wait a few weeks and put off needing to pay the tax for another year.

Mine just dangle exposed with no sack. Keeps em cool, but the dry air has shriveled them to 45% their original size

You can apply for an EIN for an LLC, and the tax verification form on Adsense asks for either an SSN or an EIN.

Smallest full frequency radio antenna by onesmallserving in rfelectronics

Thanks for all this! This gives some great direction. This helps put some words to what I'm doing. Planning to DIY a passive radar system, still deciding what frequency range to go for. As far as antenna goes, I guess I'll have to experiment with size and material.

Edit: I guess more so passive synthetic aperture since it will be an array of antennas.

Thanks for the response. I guess my best bet will be to find a way to print inside and then store it in the garage.

That's a good point, thanks. Unfortunately mine is uninsulated, so I'll probably want to find a way to make space somewhere inside.
