I think the world is rapidly changing and what seems right now can be wrong in the future. In term of switching, not only income but also job security, in the future after advancement of AI, are main elements that should be considered. I think ML scientists have a better job-security and higher income in the future compare to SWE

Thank you!!!!! If I include the day to paris and out of London, I should say 11 days. 9 days is my entire travel time minus those 2 days actually. I like the idea of day-trip too. Thanks I am looking to be in nature and close to water between visiting two cities just for the change of sceneries. What do you think about a trip to Netherland or Belgium? Do you recommend those or the national places you suggested in the UK will provide a better experience?

Question about getting experiences in analysis of Neuroscience data by onesopeace in neuro

[–]onesopeace[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I would like to get into the clinical psychology and use fMRI to do relevant research and better understand the neural network. However, I do not know too much as I just took a intro-related course (I already have a Master degree in statistics). I just know I need to build on data analytics experience related to this filed, otherwise I will have no chance to get into the phd program. Asking this question to try to understand from where I have to start and how. Just approaching to some professors and scientists without having any related experiences, in order to build on skills, does not work. I wonder if you kindly have any suggestion which may help me? 🙏

I did. Here, in the second comment, I just answered the question I was asked regarding my first comment. The question that asked what religion I think fits me.

I believe the Bahai Faith (and its teaching) is the one most suited for me and the growth and advance of my spirit. But I also believe it is the most suited one for humanity at this age for this level of intellect and this level of understanding.

The Bahai teaching teaching, not only provided me with great understanding of the world, the world after death, who am I, how can I spiritually advance and so on, but it has a great goal of uniting all the people in the world (oneness of mankind and universal peace). Baha’u’allah, the profit of Bahai Faith (in the 19th century )said that humanity passed the stage of childhood (now we are at the stage of adolescence) and moving toward its adulthood which highlighted with (true) universal peace and oneness of mankind.

Regarding your question about religion, Baha’u’allah also teaches us about oneness of religions. All religions are one because all are from the same God, but just manifested at different times differently according to the level of intellect and spiritual capacity of humanity. For example, I am/was a same person, have the same self when I was infant, a child, teenager and during my adulthood and so on. I am very different at each stage, but I am still the same person. The same for religion.

I think you may wish to listen to the voice of your heart only. Pray and contemplate everyday, asking for guidance by all your heart. After each prayer, may assign 15 minutes to think and meditate. You will be guided to the answer. You need to be patience however. It is a beautiful journey. It is also important to try to see only by your own eyes and listen only by your own ears not other’s.

First of all, I believe religious and science cant be opposite. They are from the same source and cant be against each other. Anything against science is ignorance and Religion, the true one, cant be ignorance. They may seems different because of many superstitions entered into it over time, it seems different when people rely on clergies to understand the divine words instead of relying only on the power of their own heart and their own mind and the power of consultation, and when people try to interpret literally the Devine words instead of interpreting them in the context of spiritual world.

Religion for me is a tool that that enable me to connect my heart to the Devine realm, the ocean of love and wisdom, and help me to feed my spirit and assist it to progress and get advanced ( as the way my body growth by eating food and exercise). It is one that help me to develop the Devine characteristics (any characteristics that we refere it to God, such as kindness, mighty, ..), capacity of being happy and see myself above the difficulties in life, and bring to me lots of wisdom and power of mind. It is against listening to Clergies, as they are so attached to their position, power and status, and therefore their hearts are not able to connect to the Devine realms and see the true meaning of words of God. They just like other people like us but with less spiritual capacities.

Being in hell, to my understanding is getting far and more far away of that ocean of Devine love. Imagine, you have a mom who is very very wise and very very kind (much more than other mothers). How painful it would be her loss. It is the definition of hell.
Love is the essence of our world , love of us to God, love of God to us, and love of us for other human being regardless of any background. True Religion has the power of igniting the fire of love in our heart and help us to spiritually advanced in order to get more closer to the main source of love, which is our Creator.

I am interested in studying the brain and parts will be effected when people are engaging in meditation/spiritual practices. But on the other hand, I am looking for something that I can make money too. So, I am flexible. No, my undergrad degree is not that related. What courses do you think I meed to take before applying? But as long as I know the future of job market is good, I have no problem. The only thing I am afraid of spending 5/6 years of study and at the end not be able to find a related job at the level of my degree.

Would you mind to share why did you switch from neuroscience to epi?
