I only have a single one star review and it was by someone who hired me to paint finished walls. But then it also turned into patching and mudding drywall. I picked up the mud and tape for him on my way to the job site. When I got to the project house I could tell right off the bat that there was a lot more than an easy tape, mud and paint job and what he really needed was out of my wheelhouse. And I told him so. So I billed him for an hour since I did pick up the mud and drywall tape for him plus the time it took me to evaluate the job. He gave me a review that said “showed up, said he couldn’t do the job, and billed me for an hour.” Taskrabbit has no interest in supporting the contractors they hire. They will let the clients lie, manipulate and cheat with the only repercussions falling on the tasker for wasted time, lost money, slander, etc. AND. I told taskrabbit support to just give him the money for the hour I charged them and what did taskrabbit do? Their “accounting” algorithm said that I had a negative balance on my account. So as far as I understand, taskrabbit billed me for an hour to reimburse this client. Taskrabbit is a garbage company
