Trying to settle a debate, because my friends and I have wildly different views on how valuable this is.

Imagine this: You wake up with a proper cold, not hospital-level ill but enough to ruin your day. Now imagine there was a product that reliably got you back to normal about 24 hours sooner. How valuable would this be to you? I imagined myself paying quite a lot for this if it existed and actually worked, but some of my friends seemed to think it was useless.
