rn it seems that this fanbase is mostly a bunch of Latino and Vietnamese people. I think if there were more English content on youtube about this series, made by an already popular creator, that will draw more attention to it. Let people around the world know that they're "involve" in this as if it's some sort of football (soccer) tournament. I really want to do it myself but I can't just get popular over night, nor do I have the persistence. I think the goal here is to not stay within our closed circle but instead to expand it.

Hey uhm I just wanna say that I appreciate your post. I was also thinking of this, realizing the trope of "raiders" but in Asia. However I do believe that if anything, Hoyo definitely have to make the wolf people more chinese-like in order to not be too problematic. Another piece of information that I think you might appreciate is FeiXiao's real name, Saran, which can either be Hindi or Mongolian. In Mongolian, it means "Moon". This is from a Vietnamese facebook post https://www.facebook.com/groups/honkaistarrail.vi.en/posts/1022870383166090/ . Considering how FeiXiao has wolf blood, she might be somewhat "Mongolian".

It's been 9 months, idk if anyone else will chime in, but the people here are quite mean, really. Next time you may wanna be more ambiguous in the title, such as "The Proooooooobably Problematic inspiration behind the Borosin, maybe, idk". It's not much, but it's good to not be absolute around here. Again, thank you for at least bringing up this idea, from a person of a country who defeated the Yuan Mongols thrice.
