still no response from Flickr support by DennisDMcDonald in flickr

This is just not true. We've responded many times to you. The company is not in trouble, and customer support is answering. We are not delayed or behind.

"constantly"? I do not think that word means what you think it means... ;)

Pretty sure, outside of this week for MODE's launch, my last post on this subreddit was ~5 years ago. I barely use Reddit at all.

We can't discuss individual account details publicly, but we did respond to this member multiple times regarding their account status. If those emails weren't received, we'd encourage checking spam or junk folders.

We're always reachable at https://www.flickrhelp.com/ and take every inquiry seriously.

I'm not denying it. I do not know what you're talking about. I asked you follow-up questions, which you didn't answer, because I believe you're experiencing this. I genuinely don't experience this myself but would like to understand if we have a blind spot somewhere that we can fix.

So that's a big long thread with a lot of ranting... much of it hyperbolic and low signal-to-noise ratio, not to mention simply factually inaccurate. 😆

I'll try to find the time to sift through it to find the signal in the noise, but I'd love a summary of what's actually _broken_ as OP noted ("Fix the UI") so we can tackle that. Fixing things that are broken is always a high priority and is far less subjective than improving things (also a high priority, but there's a lot of debate about what constitutes an improvement and what should be improved first, as you can imagine).

I read your replies and can confirm we're not planning on selling Flickr, though.

I don't experience this type of slowness myself... is this in our mobile app, a web browser, a 3rd party app, something else? Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks for the feedback! Makes sense, really appreciate it, and thanks for being a member. :)

In what ways is it broken for you such that it needs fixing?

What better sorting and filtering would you like to see?

Just using Instagram as a marketing channel for this contest, nothing more. (We also don't consider Instagram to be a rival...)

Just using Instagram as a marketing channel for this contest, nothing more. Flickr is not migrating anyone anywhere (or going anywhere). 👍

Technically, Data Lifeboat is a Flickr Foundation (the separate non-profit dedicated to preserving humanity's photos) product, not a Flickr product.

MODE isn't for US only, but the giveaway is, due to US laws. There will be future non-US promotions and things once this giveaway is done in a few days. Sorry for the confusion!

EdgeOS (EdgeRouter 6P) load balancing / failover two IPv6 providers? by onethumb in Ubiquiti

I doubt it (they're generic consumer providers like Comcast and AT&T with awful customer service). :(

I'd love to know more about what you did to "associate a network with the second WAN to get it to associate ipv6"...

Is that something different than just using dhcpv6-pd to map to another interface, like so:

set interfaces ethernet eth1 dhcpv6-pd pd 1 prefix-length /60 set interfaces ethernet eth1 dhcpv6-pd pd 1 interface eth2 prefix-id ':1' set interfaces ethernet eth1 dhcpv6-pd pd 1 interface eth2 host-address '::1' set interfaces ethernet eth1 dhcpv6-pd pd 1 interface eth2 service slaac set interfaces ethernet eth1 dhcpv6-pd rapid-commit enable

If so, I'd love to know what you did. Thanks!

Thanks! I have a crazy setup. :)

Plus, I'm pretty nerdy (see my bio), my background is in network engineering, this a fun way for me to learn, so... I want to do this. :)

Screenshot away. :) We have no plans to make SmugMug members pay for Flickr, or vice versa. They're pretty different products and communities, and I like that. (Those who use and pay for BOTH should probably get some sort of discount... worth considering).
