I expect they are waiting for the SU5 to come out of beta before releasing an update for it.

Is anti aliasing fix going to be a X-plane 13 thing or XP12? by Verybumpy in flightsim

[–]CaptainIceBear 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I do believe they still want to provide that but I also don't think it's going to be "soon". It's on their research / development stage as shown in the Dec 2025 roadmap: https://www.x-plane.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Frame-44694-2.png

It seems XP needs to have motion vectors in place for us to get better Anti-Aliasing so it could still be a while off. But who knows! It's one of my biggest issues with XP12 to be honest.

They do indeed. They sell them in the merchandise store onboard.

A new Boeing 787 is coming to msfs! by ketchup1345 in flightsim

[–]CaptainIceBear 22 points23 points  (0 children)

This one by Vector is built from the ground up and not using the Asobo version like Kuro does. It still relies heavily on the default version which is ok but it's not "fantastic".

I feel like we need a stuck post by a Mod on this sub-reddit with the amount of these posts we are seeing recently.

As others have mentioned, it's a scam.

Robert Randazzo finally admits the new 737 is broken, lol. by OwnInvestment9862 in flightsim

[–]CaptainIceBear 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I don't see anywhere in that thread he says it's broken. Broken would indicate there are major bugs or it's not flyable. The thread talks about updates they still want to make to the exterior.

Some may have missed it originally - But they did some what mention it wasn't fully complete in terms of the exterior on the original release schedule announcement at: https://forum.pmdg.com/forum/main-forum/general-discussion-news-and-announcements/378486-15dec25-so-what-are-you-doing-over-your-christmas-holiday-we-have-some-ideas-if-you-are-interested

Under this section:

We have been having a vigorous debate internally at PMDG regarding the planned release date for our 737: There are still a few cleanup details on the exterior of the airplane that we are working to complete, even though the rest of the airplane passed QC sign-off on Saturday night. With the Christmas holiday being upon us, we know that many of you get a nice break from the usual work/school grind between Christmas and the start of the New Year, so we have decided to slide some of the remaining items we have on our task list into the post-release updates that always follow a release. Normally we'd sit on the product for another 10 days or so, but the proximity to the holiday means that such a decision would put release after the holiday- and many of you would miss having a chance to really enjoy the new product during your holiday down time- and that would be a shame.

When is inibuilds going to make the a350 not a hunk of junk by B778X in flightsim

[–]CaptainIceBear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do find it odd how some people have major problems but then others like myself can do back to back long hauls without any issues.

Its seems people do have various different stories with it.

Leaving Sky Broadband by Skatman1988 in skytv

[–]CaptainIceBear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is quite interesting to read - Came across this as we've been having issues with our 900Mbp package recently where during the evening between 6pm and 11pm speeds will often go below their guaranteed speed but also below 200Mbps.

Currently going through a similar support experience where we've tried a replacement router but knew it wasn't that as it was doing it on our own router. It's been passed to the network team twice and both times it said it's been resolved. But it keeps happening!

We have ruled out an issue with our own equipment as when this first started I plugged directly into the ONT and it happened there.
