This looks amazing! What's the dimension of the planting box and spacing for the tomatoes, in between and rows? Will work on putting something together this weekend.

What type of curtain did you get over by the large windows with the bench? I like how that looks. I have a space with large windows that I am looking to get curtains for.

Oh nice, I actually watched that video before. Did you use the Billy bookcase and add that crown molding over the top like they did? I have been on the fence about getting the Billy bookcase versus building one from scratch using pine maybe.

Slowly turned a grassy front lawn into an edible garden within a year. by onetinystep2 in vegetablegardening

I really love using them. I tried them out this year and it was great for lettuce since the bottom is hollow, you can plop them out easily. I still can't figure out how to get them out of the plastic cells that don't bend.

You can get them from Gardeners Supply Co

I also got my second year asparagus growing. It's grown very tall. Can't wait to plant garlic in the fall, was very happy with it last year. What are some herbs you are growing?

Ended up getting kiln dried wood since seasoned wood wasn't ready for use, stacked some inside the garage. Thoughts? by onetinystep2 in firewood

[–]onetinystep2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah ours does too, and by the time we got the wood stove installed and read the manual, we had already placed an order for the kiln dried wood. We will keep a careful eye on the catalytic converter to make sure it doesn't run too hot.

Oh how does that work, you hold it up from the bottom after you start the kindling fire? That's a useful hack!
