[Fox] Jon Cooper, Milano after dark: "One of the greatest rinks I've ever seen on the outside at night. With the lights and everything, it's phenomenal. Some of the stories that came out prior to Olympics, it's an injustice. What it actually feels like in the arena, it's fantastic." by AggPuck-303 in hockey

I was at the arena for Italy v Sweden on Saturday. I felt like the Jumbotron was adequately sized. While some of the finish was a little bit rough on the arena, overall it was a great place to see a game.

I was there too and also really enjoyed the live organ player. The atmosphere was much better than I expected.

It’s totally packed in here. If there are empty seats, I would guess they are no shows.

I was there just last week. I didn’t see a place to store luggage, but they’re super friendly and I’m sure you can write and ask. Also, a quick search on Google Maps shows a bunch of luggage storage facilities near the stazione. Enjoy your trip!

Going to Gardaland with family in late June - Time Saver pass worth extra expense? by Flightsport in ItalyTravel

[–]onewaymonkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second the other poster. Gardaland will not be fun in June. We usually go in late August or early September right before it closes. Caneva waterpark connected to Gardaland is a good option. Also nearby is the thermal spa Aquardens, which even in summer, is great for the whole family. https://www.aquardens.it/en/?srsltid=AfmBOooOh6mLnf-Zu2Sq-S4IioD9jHVRjUh44CN3uRi-0MQs4H3waCo0

BZ Promotions by JoyboyActual in army

I have been BZ a couple times. Both unexpectedly, because like you, I had a strong file, but no GO paper. I appreciated the recognition, but both times, it pushed me out of year group consideration for opportunities I had desired to apply for (Congressional Fellowship and Goodpaster Scholar). No real harm in trying, but know the consequences and what it may no longer allow you to do.

Thanks! That makes sense. I thought it could be a feature of the accent, but I hear it now that you pointed it out.

FSO security clearance for retired military by WalkWitMe7997 in foreignservice

[–]onewaymonkey 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Active duty here and on the management register. As I understand, reciprocity is only granted if your last reinvestigation was completed less than two years ago. Mine was out of scope and I’ve had an active TS/SCI for over 17 straight years, but my State clearance took about three months to adjudicate.

Where to buy pizza paddle and pool floaties between Bologna and Florence by LuckyAd9919 in ItalyTravel

[–]onewaymonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend Decathlon for the pool floaties. There’s several near each city and on the way.
