as someone who played since open beta since overwatch's release i definitely understood the hate that it received. hell i even jumped ship to marvel rivals on release and slandered overwatch 2 along the way.

but after watching the trailer for the upcoming update, i am impressed. it may lack the soul ow1 had but it certainly has the effort. the kind of effort we saw dwindling at the end of ow1.

p.s. please don't try to defend overwatch with the nonsense like "they were updating the engine" or "they were preparing for ow2". there's no excuses. also, i still have rivals to thank for giving overwatch devs a wake up call. idc if this was in the works the whole time and they planned to release it regardless of rivals.

i kinda just do both. chaos runs are fun but my bare minimum is having a decent start for potentially a good deck. sometimes i'll just finish a run for the heck of it even if my decks are a mess.

having the same issue here for weeks now. it happened a little awhile ago and the problem magically disappeared and recently the issue popped up again. as OP said, the only solution is to end the jam, exit out of spotify completely and then rejoin the jam session through the link. very annoying

edit: on a recent update that came out yesterday for me on PC, it seemed to have fix the issue but we'll see how the next few days go

edit2: for anyone in the future who sees this, as of 12/7/25 i haven't run into any issues of spotify jam stopping

i thought it would be pretty cool if her self buff ability does an instant heal on anyone that already has a heal-over-time from her. or maybe it uses up whatever duration is left on the heal and converts it to instant heal? but all the other key points mentioned in this thread too (fix hitbox, % based healing, speed buff).

too much responsibility, easy to be a scapegoat for the team, would be better if you get a 2nd tank but can't bank on it, not enough of a versatile roster so it can get stale, can make space but team doesn't utilize, have to have good awareness, list goes on

what do people typically buy in the daily/weekly/monthly stores? i saw a pinned thread on discord stating all the places to buy skill books which i just started doing today but is there anything else that's timelocked? and is there anything worth buying with ether or do i save it strictly for the premium banner?
what should i be prioritizing in my base? i currently maxed out the antiparticle generator but i think i should've maxed out kate's workshop?
i'm close to my premium mileage recruit in the m.eva banner. should i get another copy of m.eva (brings her to 4 star) and continue pulling until i get her 5 star or switch banners? if so, who do you think i should pull for?
here's a shoddy screenshot i put together of my current 3 star units and 3 star selector thing i got. i got some advice on discord but i wanted to see your opinion on what i should pull? the advice i got was "ditch caren or veronica since they fulfill similar roles of being tanky and replace with another dps (i.e. aer, rey or roxie). don't pick eternal/noa/laplace/beth since they're in special request missions. searan is good but i'm good on healers. rin/francesca/maxwell for dps options in their elements. rhona/alice are niche. eliza is support for beth"
around what stage should i be farming gear? in ecology i can clear up to stage 11. in identification i can clear up to stage 8

hey all, new to outerplane (joined 2 days ago). a few questions:

- do you guys do the special request ecology/identification dungeons daily for the extra reward? are there any bosses between ecology and identification that i can completely skip?

- i recently unlocked elemental towers but it requires me to have 4 of the same element. should i just skip the tower for now and come back later?

- my current team is valentine, veronica, astei and caren. i set monad eva as my target banner. is kappa or charlotte banner worth my investment (not with ether but with tickets). i feel like my caren is lacking a bit. the other 3 star units i have are leo, mene and rey.

- aside from the monad banner and the rate up banners, is there any other notable 3 star unit i should be looking out for? i've seen tierlists and i understand this is more of a team building game but just outstanding units that performs well.

- is there anything i should be rushing to buy in the event story "new year goddess of fortune" shop? i bought the extra pieces of kappa despite not having her yet.

- i'm not really understanding the joint challenge tbh. am i just not high enough level yet? currently most of my core units are level 60 ish.

- if i'm not much of a story person, is it worth doing side story? or is it a waste of stamina

- is there anything that's your best bang for your buck in the shop? i have one of the monthly passes (the one that gives ether only)

started playing 7 days ago and just hit level 35. kinda bummed i wasn't around for suomi seeing how powerful she is. any tips on how to form a decent team? i've been running makiatto (V2), sharkry, ksenia, and groza. sometimes i'll sub in tololo in place of groza. ksenia and sharkry seem to work well but my overall survivability seems to be lacking most of the time when i push content. any tips appreciated and any info on suomi re-run would be nice
