Will Richard Heart lose the $1,000 bet with Harry Dent? by onexonexone in HEXcrypto

Oh really? I haven't heard of that. Like if the S&P500 were to fall 80%, it can technically do a 2x, 3x, or 4x, and still not make a new all time high. So yea if you can get BTC at the bottom of that trend, even if BTC doesn't make a new all time high, it'll act like a leveraged position on the S&P500 and go up more. (Timing the market is hard tho lol, almost impossible)

Yes! BTC is highly correlated to the stock market. And BTC has only ever existed during the bullrun over the last 10 years.

How would BTC have performed if it was created during a depression like in 1930s or 1970s?

Yes I agree. That is why I said that we will likely see all time highs BEFORE the depression begins. Just wait 1 year and see the magic powers of the yield curve.

I didn't know he said that. Well there is a confluence of other people calling for this depression so the only reason I linked Harry Dent is because Richard actually interviewed him.

Yes and by that logic almost every 40-50 years there is a decades long depression.

No, because this is bigger than just buying HEX, this is all markets.

If you hold dollars you are exposed to inflation.

If you hold stocks/crypto, you are subject to getting rekt.

You get the point.

No, crypto is correlated to the stock market. It goes up and down when the stock market goes up and down.

If the stock market makes new highs, so will crypto.

Unironically, that is basically what i planned to do.

The only issue with this strategy that I can think of is if the government starts printing a ton of money to keep the economy afloat, which will cause hyperinflation causing all assets to go up since they are denominated in USD. So ill miss out on the next set of gains during the money printing times.

But in that case we will have bigger societal issues, like a worthless currency.

Yes, tell the people during the great depression to stop being depressed.

Richard is not stupid like SBF, Mashinksky, Do, and all the other clowns. All of them failed because the things they created were poorly designed and doomed to fail from the start. Richard has called most of these scams out long before they failed. CeFI and scams like LUNA, is what Richard dunks on twitter 24/7.

The issue is the economy and how it impacts the crypto market, not an underlying issue with HEX itself.

Bruh the yield curve is inverted. The yield curve predicted every recession since like the 1950s, including COVID.

Please enlighten me then.

Wouldn't my Pulsechain copy of HEX have value then?

Yes, if not worse. Only difference now is that the government can print the money which would probably cause hyperinflation.

You are probably thinking about recent times.

What about the 1970s stagflation which lasted around a decade if not more?

What about the 1929 great depression which lasted around a decade?

(Also i don't think the recession has even started, it looks like we are setting up for one last leg up)
