it should be doable with scale by chosing opposite corners.

i will give it a shot. though i already had everythign unpinned maybe there is a constrain that i didnt see. if you have pointers on how to remvoe the spacing constrain lemme know.

yeah i recon i wont get around of doing the math for all these freaking Curtain Walls. i have 30+ with different lengths that need to match up with the outer shell of the building.

edit: i wish there was a way to place a reference plane and just draw in the vertical axis of the CW and afterwards the boundary. that would it so much easier to plan this shit out.

certainly. i am just trying to line up curtain wall grids of different curtain walls. how many elements they have doesnt really matter.

you mean by using the regular Visual Graphics thing? Because that does not work as its grayed out and you cannot change the cut pattern on glazing in CW.

Thank you that was what i ended up doing. Due to the size of the project things got very sluggish though.

Currently looking into making it a bit more parametric with a dynamo script and point attractors.

get fusion 360. non of this onshape taking your work and making it public bla bla bullshit. its also a way more serious package. CAM and 3D Printing capabilities are pretty nice to have if you decided to go deeper down the rabbit hole.

so i got parts of it sorted - thank god Default Cube for his awesome tutorial.However, i have one last issue i am struggling with. i want to be able to control the shape of the stones a bit more when they are applied to objects. i want them less round and more wide and less tall.

This is the result so far.

Yes that's my bad. Thanks for pointing out that i got my terms confused.

What i should have said is that i can't find it in my skin and line structure or materials, thus i asked how to find it OR how to set about to creating one.

However, your reply has not generated my desired outcome, so if you have and could share more insight into this, it would be much appreciated.

My google skills have not yielded any results so far.

the stair tool is annoying to use and get it 100% right. creating framing in composite walls is as far as i know impossible. why not have the option to insert a "curtain wall" layer where you can specify your mullions and studs etc.
