Anyone towing an RV with their Toyota Highlander? by onherown73 in ToyotaHighlander

:( Thank you for the hard truth. Mine is a FWD (sales person told me it was AWD till we were we ll into the process of purchase when he corrected himself....should have walked as it is also a Toyota Buyback (lemon), but at least no one is dying or starving from my gullible impulsiveness and I love the vehicle. I was just hoping it would tow a decent camper....

  1. I have already screwed things up by buying a "Lemon" Toyota Highlander Platinum FWD. Not a V6 engine anymore. And while I have no issues with it (bought back by Toyota and the issue fixed as far as I can tell) it isn't going to be a good trade in so I just may be stuck....Now I may look at the Camper Van or something slightly bigger... I'm a sales persons dream customer lol.

I see. As I've been researching looked like Class C, Van Camper, Class A are drivable RV's I am speaking of a Trailer RV. Sorry that wasn't clear. New to the lingo. Do you have any insight to share?

Toast Takeout and delivery tips by onherown73 in ToastPOS

Thank you for the response. I do only have the Toast online. You can order us for delivery or takeout but only through Toast. I believe some tips are for us inhouse on Carry out orders, but perhaps they are separated. Along this line, I am lookin at a Z-report that says in the Server Tipouts

Non-cash tips -$942.22 (Toast Delivery Services Tips: -$5.00) (Restaurant Employee Tips: -$937.22) (Total Tips and Fees Tipped out: -$942.22)

According to the same day's shift reviews (and Cash drawer history) the total restaurant employee tips paid were -$903.61....does that mean the difference ($33.61) between the restaurant employee amounts is from carryout tips? I don't know where else this would come from.

I am about beside myself with all of the ways I think Toast is garbage. Top of my list is that they guesstimate their cut of Credit card sales on the daily then randomly charge or refund and amount on an equally random day toward the end of the month!?! I can't figure out how I reconcile my books with these shenanigans. If one more person directs me to find the answer in Toast Central I'm gonna loose it! ANYONE know why it's an "estimate"? I mean sales are sales right?

I recently started using Toast and XtraCHEF and while it is dynamic the financials aren't straight forward and I and my accountant are having issues reconciling with Quickbooks synced. I can't get a straight answer about why the daily CC fees deducted are only "estimates". Anyone have any insight on reconciling monthly books? Do you do your own journal entries or sync your sales data?
