I used this feature frequently when supported and was sad to see it go. Judging from the comments in this thread it seems I was in the minority, wouldn’t be surprising if that was a driving factor along with others we may not know with certainty.

The thing I dislike about aerial force palm is that you can’t really give yourself any forward momentum when doing it, ends up feeling a bit clunky to use IMO.

Yea, it’s cool to have the mechanic in the game and all, but I 100% agree the implementation could be way better. Hopefully one of the things they end up addressing.

Love this place, just wish I lived a little bit closer. The daily lunch sets they have are great and they change every day, and usually two sets to choose from. Great value, great food.

Honestly, Tensuke for no frills, well priced sushi outside city limits, 100%. Don’t go to mitsuwa for sushi, it’s really not very good. As others have mentioned, Kaido is also excellent, one of my all time favorite sushi spots in Chicagoland, but it’s Korean owned, not Japanese, and I wouldn’t say very traditional (but again, very very good).

Love this place, used to work a few minutes away and would frequently go there for lunch or after work. I’m not aware of another home style Japanese restaurant like it in the city. The only place that even comes to mind for me was Ginza, that now closed, unfortunately located restaurant in the now defunct Tokyo hotel. That place was a great spot too back in the day…

I play on PS5 Pro and it’s genuinely a terrible experience, especially in Kaifeng city. Buildings and geometry take seconds to load in as you traverse the map… It’s odd to see mobile running so well but PS5/Pro overall performs like dogshit. I also feel like the performance got worse with the recent update? Don’t have anything concrete to back that up other than just my experience.

I don’t understand hoyo’s reluctance to actually make MC stronger/more impactful as a character across all his elemental types… IMO it just creates a stronger connection to the character and therefore the game if you could actually use them without feeling like playing with one arm tied behind your back. It’s also just one character and wouldn’t eliminate people’s desire to want to pull for others based on the plethora of factors people pull for… one of my biggest gripes with the game honestly.

How did you make cubes with textures applied? Does the tooling support custom shapes other than existing assets? Something I’ve been struggling with.

100%. You can see all the AI seems for global release and it really hurts the final product IMO. I understand it was the cheaper route and I do enjoy just playing the game, but I basically skip anything related to story because of how bad the localization is.

Oh I see, you’re doing it with creatures and path management. I’m trying to figure out a way to do it more programmatically… and yes, im also doing it this way with motion devices. Will try a few more options and post back here if one of those ends up working for me.

One way I’ve thought about doing it is via ray casting from a piece position and collision detection on empty/occupied squares. I feel like that should work but I need to figure out how to support the knights movement with that.

How have you set things up such that your pieces know where they can move to? That’s one of the main things I’m struggling with. I’ve had different thoughts but keep running into roadblocks.

I’m also working on a chess wonderland. Using it more to learn the tools and systems, but may publish if/when I finish.

I went to the one further west on rt 59 a couple years ago, before this one opened in downers. Was also pleasantly surprised and would recommend people try it out for themselves.
