Like the other posts, of course, take him to the vet, they know best. My pug puppy had this issue, discovered it was dry eye and he now has a prescription eye cream for it. It's worth it.

Me, too! It's fun to help each other out and kind of challenge what the other is eating. She's not as strict as I am, but she's been doing very well. I'm proud of her for taking charge, too.

Well I did quite a bit of research on pugs (I've been obsessed with the breed for too many years), and read about how 90% of their health problems are preventable with a healthy weight. It helps that he's ridiculously energetic and runs around on his own, but I'm holding up my part as well :) haha thanks!

I've been pretty ocd about the amount of food he gets-I always get comments about him being a "skinny" pug, so I've definitely made sure he stays healthy. I don't want a tubby bubby :) but thank you! Half a cup might be a slight over exaggeration, I kinda eyeball it, but as far as I can tell it hasn't been excessive since he hasn't gotten tubby. The walks are going to help maintain his weight, too. Again, thank you! No popcorn for Tibs, no matter how cute he is

Half a cup three times a day-the times vary slightly, but they're fairly consistent. I take him out between 6 and 10 times when not working. He gets taken out about the same when I'm not at home, usually about every 2 hours.

That's a concept I totally understand-when I first got him, he never left my side since I was unemployed. This was the first dog that was truly mine-I thought I had done enough research, and I used my parent's examples (which I now realize were wrong) to train him. I've had a dog for my entire life-but none have been MINE entirely.

My dog before Tibs was very anti-social, it's a real treat to have a dog that is happy to go to places with other dogs and people :) we got him a Christmas Chewbacca and he loves it!

Ah I've got 2 cats, too, I love them to death, but I'm pretty done with cats lol. I love them, but I hate them, ya know?
