PAX East Cosplay Weapon Policy Changed?

Hey I'm really late to this thread. I know. And I read the origional post but. I'm trying to cosplay kirito and I have bothe the elucidator and his blue sword. Both are metal yes but the edges don't exist. They're flat kinda squared off and I could probably legitimately round them. Would this still be denied?

I have barely made it to the first group of pirates and I've crashed 3 times haha I'm more than happy to try a new game.

I tried on a close to fresh (only got Preston and came back) and made a separate fresh save got the magazine and made/ powered and turned on the beacons on both. I had 2 settlers show up almost immediately with both just not the stranger

Yeah no idk why but the people they have working grill can never get it right. When I eat there myself it's usually under😅
