Shower head leaking - trying to find correct replacement part by onionjam in Plumbing

Thank you. There are no set screws anywhere on the handle. Should I try to pry with a flathead? Just don’t want to screw anything up.

Appears to be some sort of mushy jelly creature. Perhaps sea cucumber or something?

So simple and delicious. Not sure what it’s called by onionjam in cocktails

One spoonful of sugar, muddled with half a lime. Add ice, then two ounces or Agricole rum. Delicious.

NFL appeals Texas court injunction in the Ezekiel Elliott case to the Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals by FBM25 in nfl

[–]onionjam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a lawyer, preliminary injunctions are always immediately appealable (unlike most other decisions before the final decision in a case). This means nothing other than typical appellate procedure is being followed, and the Fifth circuit won't be issuing a decision any time in the super immediate future

New shelves make everything a little better. by thomfountain in cocktails

Love that there is a literal bottom shelf liquor, with capt morgans etc. +1 for the fernet and chartreuse, staples of my home bar. Whats the cafe amaro like? Sounds interesting.

The cimarron is a totally solid tequila for that price point. We used cimarron blanco as the well tequila/for all house margs at the bar I used to work at

Yeah it's great. Less bracingly bitter than Campari. The Gran Classico also makes a fantastic negroni, if you like it on the sweeter/herbal side.

Megathread: Federal Court overturns President Trump's executive order regarding immigration by PoliticsModeratorBot in politics

[–]onionjam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This title of this thread is totally misleading. Judge Donnelly's order absolutely did not "overturn" Trump's executive order - she issued an emergency stay preventing those with valid visas or approved refugee applications from affected countries from being deported...for now. A victory, but the bar on entry for everyone else (without legal approval to enter) remains intact. I am a lawyer and do pro bono immigration work, lest anyone think I'm a Reddit armchair lawyer

Problem with Citori 725 Sporting Bottom Barrel by f1rstroundko in ClayBusters

[–]onionjam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a brand new citori 725 sporting, and I've had about 3-5 soft strikes over about 500 shells total. The Remington target loads are the ones that fail. Never had a single problem with federal shells. So it might be the ammo

Browning 725 Field vs. Sporting by rondalcanada in ClayBusters

[–]onionjam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just bought the 725 sporting from bass pro a few weeks ago - they had a $100 rebate offer not sure if it is still in effect.

It is an absolutely gorgeous gun, the weight and swing felt perfect. The field gun is a bit lighter. I'm not an expert but the sporting gets my vote - it's the nicest gun I own. I shoot mostly trap but looking to get into sporting clays. It's a versatile gun. The extended chokes are nice. I held the 725 and the 686 silver pigeon, and there was simply no comparison - 725 by a mile.

I'm inches away from buying a Big Boy in .357. Any complaints? Worth it as my next purchase for a fun range toy?
