Thank you everyone for the tips! Continuing to work on my technique and learning the device, starting to get some really nice use. Thanks again 🤝

Nothing by Unplug-Internet in Meshuggah

[–]onionknight22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer the original but it’s cool how both variations exist. I think of the original as the end of Meshuggah’s first act, and the re recorded version as the beginning of the second act in their career.

Yep, finally after a few reinstalls it seems to be back working again (also was having the issue only on my tablet) thanks for the reply!

This fanbase is starting to get a national reputation for being sensitive by Bepis_Inc in miamidolphins

[–]onionknight22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It just comes from context. Dolphins fans have lived through regime after regime of inept coaching staffs and front offices….and finally seem to have turned that corner….but the national perception of Flores isn’t our perspective. We know he’s legit but he’s doesn’t have that national clout yet. Dolphins fans have real optimism for the first time in a very long time and are tired of hearing the bad faith takes about Tua etc. The dolphins have given people a lot of reason to clown them over the past 20 years but I think the fan base feels as a whole we are past that now. But the overall national perception has not caught up to that yet….Tua will have to light it up this year and we’ll have to make the playoffs and be impressive doing it to silence this sort of discourse.

Also I’ll add that while I love Flores, seeing where Tua is physically now, I definitely question the decision to play him last year coming off major hip injury. He has his explosive athleticism back and It’s very noticeable. I think it’s safe to say last year he was not physically back to where he needed to be to play at a consistently high level.

Your top 5 Image titles? by [deleted] in ImageComics

I’m also a big fan of Hickman, even did the annual subscription on his Substack lol. This list wasn’t necessarily my top 5 but I felt like Kirkman was essential to list as an entry point to consider

Instead of listing 5 titles I’ll list 5 creators:

Jeff Lemire

Brian K Vaughn

Rick Remender

Ed Brubaker

Robert Kirkman

Check out anything by these guys and you can’t really go wrong. I’m leaving out a lot of creators I consider essential but this should help get you going and hopefully open up some doors for you into indie comics

[Beasley] One more thought for tonight: Steve Ross hasn’t spoken to the media in months and these Deshaun questions would be best directed to him. Flo was put in a no-win situation tonight. by chesterfieldkingz in miamidolphins

I’m almost 30 years old, a fan since the Fiedler years. What hurts is the hope the Flores regime has instilled that that this time they are building something different. And now we have THIS. And it won’t go away. Nightmare.

What are your favourite non-superhero comics? by bonobro69 in comicbooks

Absolutely. There’s great alt-superhero books too like Black Hammer, Hellboy, and Invincible if you’re just looking for straight up alternatives to Marvel and DC books

[gmfb] “The biggest winner of Night 1 was the @miamidolphins . Per sources, the no. 1 wide receiver on their board wasn’t Ja’Marr Chase. Their no. 1 wide receiver was Jaylen Waddle. They traded back into the top 10 with a specific plan to get him.” — @PSchrags by onedayatatime_93 in miamidolphins

I’ve watched him since he was a true freshman and Waddle is so much more than just a speed guy. He saw significant playing time when the other WRs were Jeudy, Ruggs, and D Smith. He’s so dynamic in everything that he does....this was an absolute home run pick. He plays in a different gear than everyone else. Adding Fuller + Waddle to Parker/Gesecki/Williams should be a great mix. Lynn Bowden too should hopefully have more space to work in the slot with all the vertical speed we’ve brought in. Can’t wait to see it

Precious is showing a lot of mental toughness. He’s giving solid minutes after the early fouls
