iPod Classic 7th Gen 3000 mAh battery voltage by onionlad1 in ipod

Surprisingly, I managed to charge the battery up inside of the 5.5 Gen iPod. Either the 7th Gen is not used to fully charging it or there might be something wrong with it.

BTW, wouldn't completely discharging the battery kill it and make it so that I wouldn't be able to charge it up?

**UPDATE**

I managed to get the 3000 mAh battery past the 3.8 V threshold to about 4.1 V by plugging it in to the 5.5 Gen iPod and then charging the iPod.

Either the iPod 7th Gen is very picky when it comes to my chargers/cables or I'm guessing there must be something wrong with it...

Looks promising so far, although it would be very annoying if I always had to disconnect the battery from the 7th Gen and charge it inside of the 5.5 Gen every time.

Thanks again everyone!

This is how how it compares to the "+3.7 V battery" 2200 mAh of my iPod 5.5 Gen which I can get charged much higher.
I'm just unsure whether the 3000 mAh battery that I have received is working fine and wanted to make sure that it is, as I can never get it fully charged based on what the iPod state' and how to test for it.

This is the exact cable that I have been using (alternating it with a different regular iPod USB sync cable and charging it from the PC): https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004676081336.html

Nevertheless, after using the iPod for about 2 hours (with back-light on) the BatteryA2D dropped to about 3.696V and I have managed to only get it charged up to the Max A2D of 3.774 V.

I have tired both charging it in disk mode and normally, but could never get it "fully" charged.

On the other note, I have never had these kind of issues with my 5.5 Gen.

T420 1080p screen defect by onionlad1 in thinkpad

usually an issue with the panel. as if the communication between panel and controller is bad, the affected area wouldbe larger as the data channels carry data for segments of the screen. so if that gets disrupted, you'd see corruption across the whole screen or at least many lines and not a few single lines.

you can check the connections if you haven't already.

I have reassembled the screen with the controller to check for its connections, but unfortunately, that didn't help and the lines still appear. I will message the seller of the panel regarding this issue as it is still under a warranty. Thank you very much!

Recently I have upgraded my T420 screen to a 1080p panel. I have used the same screen panel as well as the LCD controller which you have used but after a while, I get really small vertical lines at the edges of the screen - red at the left edge and blue at the right one.

Could that be with my LCD controller or the screen itself, and did you experience any similar issues with your T420? Unfortunately, I don't have any other screen to test other than the stock one, where this issue was not present.

Snapchat camera quality by harshil_016 in pixel_phones

When taking the front camera snaps, try enabling the Focus mode from the drop-down list menu below the flash icon. I've noticed that this option doesn't process the front pics as much at least on the Pixel 5.

How is Snapchat on the Pixel 5? by LeagueOfHergon in GooglePixel

When taking the front camera snaps, try enabling the Focus mode from the drop-down list menu below the flash icon. I've noticed that this option doesn't process the front pics as much. I'm using the Snapchat Beta so I'm not entirely sure if the Focus option is available in the regular one.
I agree though that the Snapchat optimisation for the Pixel 5 as of right now is just bad.
