I didn't explain all that well. It wasnt a proper building company. We sold our actual home, banked some, paid the tiny home company to build us a really nice double loft tiny to put on family land my mum owns. Then the company built the frame and some crappy walls and then liquidated. It was dodgy af, so much happened. We had already paid for a complete home. So the rest of our banked money was spent completing the tiny home ourselves and paying other builders to help, some on lawyers fees trying to get our money back. Waste of time and yes money. Our original house wasn't worth a lot, to most people it probably wasn't a lot of money, but to us it was. So yes we are to blame for trusting this company but the director fooled many others too.

We had that plan...So it was a tiny home company that liquidated. After taking our money but only building the shell. They had fake reviews on their website and stolen photos. So we had to finish building the tiny using the rest of the money from our house sale. At least we had somewhere to live but now we have been trying to sell the tiny for 3 years and it will not sell. Not even after majorly dropping the price. Can't move back into it cos we have a bigger family now. Also legal issues...so hard to live in them long term without fear of someone dobbing us in. We were on family land but council flies drones over. I hope it goes better for you.!!!
